I know this has been talked about before, but all the posts I have read have not solved my problem. I'm right at the end of Henen-Nesu, the second campaign. All I need are 2 more Large Basalt Statues to open the port of Dumyat, but all my laborers seem to quarry only small statues. I have 45 small and 2 large! I tried building a large statue so that they would quarry more large, but no luck. I have 2 overseers, one set to quarry and one to oversee construction. I have just built a 3rd to see if that would help, but in the meantime, anyone have any suggestions? I just want to finish this campaign and move on. ;)
Thanks!

Could you post a savegame of your situation? We'll take a look at it and see what we can figure out. Thanks!

Here is my saved game. It's a pretty lame city. This campaign has taken forever and I just wanted to finish it, so I'm pretty embarassed to show it to you, but I DO want to finish this scenario. :o

Playing with your save for a bit, it looks like the large statues will get quarried... it just takes some time due to the distances the work teams have to commute.
I let your save run for a while, and eventually the laborers do get around to hauling the large statues out. Without an earlier save, I'm not entirely sure why so many small statues were produced relative to the large, but from the point at which I took up playing your save the ratio seemed reasonable(eventually ended up with 4 large, 49 small).
So, basically, just stick with it! I was playing on the patched version, so if your statues still don't get quarried I recommend trying it with the patch.
I hope this was helpful. Let me know if you still have trouble or encounter other problems with this.

As an avid gamer, I belong and have belonged to the forums of many games. I just wanted to say I am really impressed the moderators ("luminaries" here I know) not only answer questions promptly, but also take the time to download other people's saved games and play them out to find out solutions... KUDOS guys!
