Will all elites use servants? For instance, will a priest let a servant do his shopping, or does there have to be a housewife in the building to do so?

For that matter, is there a list somewhere of the buildings that will use servants?

Most importantly, how many servants will (each of) the buildings use? How many servants is effective per served building?

In what order do servants seek new masters? Nobles, luxury shopkeepers, overseers? The other way around?

How many servants will work for a luxury shopkeeper, and is it worth it?

Apparently there are some elites who will use servants. Priests will definantly not use one. I am unsure if the use of a servant requires a wife or not.

I'm sure that somewhere's on this forum there is a list. However, here is a list as far as who I know use servants: nobles, luxury shopkeepers, scribes, and overseers. I do not know if commanders use servants as I have never observed it but it is entirely possible.

It's kind of trial and error finding the right balance of servants. I believe a building wil employ only one servant at a time (luminaries or others correct me if that is wrong!!!) I have noticed that a building does not employ one specific servant for the duration of the game though. I guess servants only work on a per hire basis. This means that you do not need one servant for each building. Simplified: A servant will go shopping with a noble one day and possibly be out gathering rushes for the sandal maker on the next.

Hope this helps ya!! :D
