Message Log

Help! I have the "pop up messages" option on, but there still seems to be some things that appear in the message log that didn't pop up. Most of the time I miss these things, since I'm focusing elsewhere and the text bar at the bottom is so small, and don't get to see them until I check the log for some reason.

Is there any way to make sure all the messages pop up? And/or set which types of messages pop-up, so I don't miss ones that I feel I need to see to fit my playing style?

Meli: This seems to occur for everyone... there's another thread on it somewhere... As you do, I just hit <PageUp> to check for any important messages I may have missed...

I play with popups off and don't seem to miss much of anything critical. I can always go back and review the entire log at any moment.

I can see where it might be a problem if you rely on the popups, but I find them annoying so I play with them off.

Should get in the habit of pausing occasionally and reviewing those messages if you count them so much. It would also be a good time to make a manual save of your current progress.
