I've just started seeing some video problems around my cult temple. Any suggestions?

Yea I get that too. I think it is because of video settings and video card capabilities.

For me I have the video settings at 16 bit and all other settings set to best performace 'cept for rear clipping to elliminate that darn fog.

It looks like something to do with shadows. Maybe try playing around with shadows settings. I used to get all kinds of graphics anomalies, until I clocked my card down to default (yeah, it was over clocked big time).
CotN seems to be a graphically intense game, and can really put a workout on a video card, especially if it's an older card.

just my 2 bread :)

Cheers

One more thing I forgot to mention. Did you disable vertical sync? It's on by default, but make sure. Note that with vsync on you will take a performance hit, again, especially on older cards.

Ahh,
Is the Cult Temple placed on a slightly rolled plot of land? Not completely flat land will yeild a need to blend effects when viewed at certain angles.
