Hi all I was thinking of trying my hand out at making a senario but when I was drawing out my map on paper I had a few questions. One is can funeral services cross water to reach tombs and pryamids? Also I was wondering if anyone has tried to make a platue and if this is difficult? Just was wondering about this before I design out the map and start to make it. Thanks in advance for any tips.

H20boardr: Hi! Yep funeral services can cross water. The coffin is invisible riding the reed boat but reappears on the other shore :p .

I am working on making plateaus and yes you can do it. Set the Elevation and pick a brush size. The real trick to me is SEEING the changes in elevation especially for lower changes in height...

You might try painting a straight line across the terrain with a darker (or lighter) color, then the changes in elevation become more visible.

Easiest method for me for doing elevation work is to zoom in about halfway, adjust the camera angle to a little under a 45 degree angle, and turn grid lines on. Then elevation changes become VERY clear (though for extremely small elevation changes, the viewing angle needs to be even lower, which can sometimes make the actual editing difficult...
