Does anyone know of event registration software that I can buy a license to and install for my public sector project? I estimate about a 100 different people a month will be signing up for about 5 different events a month for the next 12 months (got that?! ).
The software is to help the administrative assistant keep track of who's signed up for what to send them reminders, directions, a follow-up questionnaires, etc.
All the software services I've found online are hosted by the service provider and charged per event, per registrant. Very pricey... Ouch!$$
Hoping there's something can buy or license for flat fee (annual ok) and install and administer myself. Something under $100... PHP and mySQL fine... or other...
Any counsel appreciated! :D
I don't have a specific recommendation, and you've probably already checked these, but here are two major sites for PHP applications/code galleries:
Zend (http://www.zend.com/)
Source Forge (http://sourceforge.net)
It may be overkill, but I also know that most of the major PHP-based CMS apps such as Post-Nuke (http://www.postnuke.com/index.php?module=Navigation) and Mambo (http://www.mamboserver.com/) include event/calendaring plug-ins.

You will need to register @ this site and verify that you are a licensed vB user before you can download the files though. If you would like, I can install this mod on my test vB board and you can test everything out on it before making any changes to your live site.
This should do what you want and it integrates into your existing vBulletin user base. :)
If that does not do what you want, there is always www.hotscripts.com (http://www.hotscripts.com)

Ok sitearm9, I installed the vB hack on one of my test boards. I have found what may be a limitation for your use but there is a work around. PM me if you are interested in giving the add on a run through on my test board and I will PM you the info.
