Cannot Uninstall Beta

Hi everyone,

I was in the beta test and and the beta patched completely, which I believe was 13 total patches.

I have recently been trying to uninstall the game (I do not have a retail version - only the beta patched). The Install Shield Wizard loads, and I get a screen where I can choose Modify, Remove, or Repair. I try Remove and it *immediately* goes to a screen which shows that the uninstallation is finished, but it is still in the Add/Remove list, the folder in Program Files\Tilted Mill is still there, etc... I have tried the modify and repair options and then tried uninstalling, along with trying to reinstall the beta over itself with the patch. Same results every time I try to uninstall.

I have WinXP Home SP2. Attached is my DxDiag.txt file. Any ideas?

I had the same problem.....luckily I changed to a new computer so I didn't have to worry about getting rid of it. But I tried all the same things....using the Uninstall Shield and trying to remove it from the programs list. Nothing worked. I can tell you that it didn't seem to cause a conflict when I installed the retail version though.

Windows add/remove wasn't able to do it for me. Select Uninstall from the autorun.exe when you put the CD in the drive. You'll still need to delete the install folder when it's done.

You may want to also carefully remove the CotN Beta entry from the registry list as well later (if it is still there.)

The CotN-demo is also UN-installable, neither via system/software nor any other way.
Finished it off all manually and found 5 entries in the registry

Ok was trying to get the demo off the computer, but no uninstall anywhere, can I just delete the folder into the recycle bin, or do I have to do something different. Nothing in control panel in the add/remove area to take off etiher. Have windows 98Se if that makes a difference.
