I have Immortal Cities : Children of the Nile v1.0 . When trying to patch it to v1.2 it says that unknown version. I can't find patch v1.1.

What version of the game do you have? The US original?
Where did you buy it?
It could be that you have a pirated copy of the game.

First of you, are you sure you have a legitimate (not bootleg) copy of the US version of CotN? The patch is for the US version only (not sure the others have been officially released yet).

The 1.2 patch contains the 1.1 updates, IIRC, so you shouldn't need 1.1.

Other than that, it's either a bootleg copy (regardless of where you got it), or, their was a problem with the first install and you may want to try uninstalling, doing a disk cleanup and defrag, then reinstall and install the patch.

Make sure you disable any background apps and your virus scanner before installing. There could be some problem there and disabling them will help avoid the problem.
