Or is it just at finding ages-old bones hidden in a closet? Then my dog is also pretty good at finding old bones. Alas, they never carry old gold-egyptian ornaments! :( :D

There's more to archaeology than just Egypt. So many things yet to be re-discovered.

Did you know that over 1/2 half of the Cairo Museum isn't opened. A couple months ago National Geo. had filmed over half of the 1&1/2 miles of the unopened chambers of artifacts.

yes...i have seen film too of this storage rooms that hold mummies and other artifacts. but what i have seen is not so good. some one I know is putting together something now that anyone with an intrest, career or love for ancient egypt, would bring tears to your eyes and make you question the powers that govern the egyptian antiquites council.
not evrything you see on TV is how it really is.
I have seen pictures of mummies half buried in the ground, their tombs open to the elements. I have seen burial shafts used as dumping grounds for rubbish same can be said for a small ptomelic temple. I have seen in those very store rooms in the ciaro museum (pictues) of mice nesting and eating stored mummies and artifacts and I have also seen home video footage of a burial chamber used for storage knee deep in storm water and sewage run off.
it is a awful shame. and knowing what i know and seeing what I have seen.. it also makes me wonder if anything new they discover may be well, left UNDISCOVERED.
