I'm intrigued by this little chap, though. Did you adopt him from Peter Gabriel?

I do think that Merepatra's dress makes her hips look a little bigger than they really are though ;) . I like the figures and I'm glad to see that they texts are just as funny as we could expect after C3, Pharaoh and Zeus.

That'll teach me to be unimaginative, won't it? :D

I get the feeling this chap should also be on your list, Jay...

Krisatoni the beggar, or should that be 'Chris and Tony'?? :)
Reminds me of Jon the Pain the native in C3.
Nice :D

Yes, you are probably right. Just take a look at what "Krisatoni" is saying! I like that kind of humour... :D
And Merepatra looks very sexy ;)

Same here CA, same here. At least the pleasure at playing the citybuilder games doesn't suffer under it :)

Tiy weaver's child:
"Reeds are free" mother says. "What are you complaining about?" she asks. Maybe she should get her own rushes for a change!
Here's a new picture.

So THAT'S where the old Eight Faith's Inn Mod came up with his name! ;) Or not...lol.
And yeah...I think my name won't cut it either. :( too bad.

Imagine my surprise when I first opened the CotN website and was greeted by an image of Ammurit the Entertainer. I nearly fell off my chair! In spite of its being perfectly at home in an Egyptian setting, "Ammurit" is actually Romanian. (Eu) am murit means "I have died".

Ack! Lets hope you havnt dies, itds make a little hard to type wouldnt it?
I dont5 think my name would really fit now would it? *shrug* oh well
Ammurit

With a little spelling alteration your name could be made to fit. Or if ever a city-building game is based on the Welsh, or features them in some way, you're in! :)

Ahhhh I too don't think I'll ever end up as a character in a game :) Sure good to have these forums up and to see all these old friends :D

The only way they can put me as a character in a game is as female Roman tax collector, and I don't think that's ever gonna happen ;)

You never know Pecunia, maybe the next game will be Roman :)
And Merepatra looks very sexy
Thanks, but I don't think my hips sway quite that much in RL :p

I think it's really kewl that Ammurit got his name into a game. Very nice of the TM people. :)
CD: I think you're would work...it could work in a fantasy game. ;) An elf...an elvish thief perhaps, like the names say, and is meant for. ;)
Hmm...this sn wouldn't work for me. lol. I'd have to have a nicename in there. ;)

Maybe.. but then there's still the problem that all tax collectors most likely will be male :p

Well I'm pretty sure GillB is in Emperor, it was her in-game name that inspired mine.
Casear Alan, you have to be a bit flexible in how you could be portrayed, for example ;) :

Now all you have to do is work on CA in Egyptian mode :)
oooops, so do I :o

That may be, we've never met, but I'm sure you're at least as beautiful as your character ;)
Sure feels good to see so many familiar names here. As a matter of fact, I was sure at least half of our Heavengames society would come here. Great!

I think most visitors go back even further. I only started to visit HG after the Imps boards were closed down, most people here I know from there.

Well, I chose this name for a reason... because it's the name I've always used playing Pharaoh ;)
Darth.

I know we were throwing around a lot of games during the Emperor beta, GQ, but Ja Gwa just never seemed to cut it :p :D
Any suggestions an Egyptian version? I suppose something with Ren would be easier than with Jaguar... I'll have to do some searching and suggest the name to Ken :)
*edit* How about Rennofret :p */edit*

Perhaps "CA" could be altered to "KA" which, if I'm not mistaken, is Egyptian for "soul" or "spirit". It could be the name of a priest or temple attendant or something.

I go back...oh, about 5 years. I started at the Lords of Magic forum at the Imps forums 5 years ago. I stopped in at the C3 forum once or twice, and the Civil War Generals. So far there are 5 of us from the Lords of Magic board here. :)

Not necessarily. Just translate it into ancient Egyptian, and you're set. :)

I guess they keep on adding those figures to the site:
http://www.immortalcities.com/cotn/images/anim-F_Car_Head.gif
Isetemkheb, laborer's wife
There's also a couple others, but their names don't seem familiar to me. :)
Mouse - this site might interest you. It has the name mouse in Egyptian, I quote, - "Pnnw" - The egyptian word for Mouse appears in spell 31b. So, Cindermouse, you, too, can ... have your own forum name in Egyptian! :) Gawds knows how you pronounce it, though! Sounds pneumatic - Pnew?
The site is called Travels With Mousey - about a guy visiting Egypt with his plushy toy mouse - don't knock it before you look at it, it is actually very good. ;)

You know, if a character named Eddy-Ra were to be in the game, I wouldn't be offended. Well, as long as I weren't a bum or enemy soldier or something.

Very interesting site Muit. I will not try to guess how you found it, but from looking at the counter, it does seem like there have been more than a few visitors. It does have some very useful information. Given such information though, I am content to just do a virtual tour :D
This is definitely a shrine site for Mouse though :)
When I research a topic, I usually trawl through some 30 to 40 pages making sure what I have kept as open tabs in Netscape is a reliable learned site and not a personal view of Egypt or Crete or whatever, unless that personal view has some cool pix or Links.
So that's how I found Travels With Mouse - and as the Links were good, I Bookmarked it. :)
Glad to help out, ;)
