My first functioning sandbox!
Tell me what you think about it... I don't know if I did everything on the world map correctly, and I'd just like some ideas on how to improve it. Gimme some feedback, please!

Hey, I just noticed this :)
Good going
After playing a bit...
Here are a few things I noticed..and am submitting to you a slightly revised, suggested copy
1. Basalt Quarry -- I couldn't get the laborers to pull statues out of the quarry
** I believe it is to close to the hill..when placing quarries that have to be able to pull it out, I usually make sure they have plenty of room to do this
sample file: I moved the quarry
2. Map Level Cities -- you had them checked as Active for all sites
** this means they have already been opened
sample file: I unchecked Active except for the enemy site - which you have correctly done. I added an activation statement to open them with.
3. Palace Preset -- in the player area, I noticed you started the palace with 50 bricks and 500 food...
** If the palace is preset on the map you wont have those resources.
sample file: I just deleted the palace and allow the player to place it
4. Dark :( -- Even during the day, on my screen the dark grass made it almost impossible for me to see what was going on..made my streets look blue
sample file: I just used the grass icon on the terrain area and repainted it
** I also used the grass-to-mud icon around the edges of the river just a personal thing
** I also used the mud icon under some of the resources just to make them stand out a little clearer on the map
5. Flood Plain -- Now I am not positive on this
** your flood plain wasnt the standard paint tool, I am uncertain if this has any effect, but...
sample file: I repainted the flood plain and part of the river bed with the flood plain icon under terrain
6. Resources - everything seemed to work
** I might add some other resources around just ... but up to you
** I wonder to maintain 30 papyrus upkeep ... you might need more papryus around

7. Scenario start time -- you had week 16
** I know the tutorial suggests this but
sample file: I changed it to week 8.. again a personal thing... week 8 is harvest time...allows them a little more time to look around
Plus - it starts them out in the daylight not night time
8. Granite Quarry -- you had no use for it
-- I dont know if you are/were planning to add more sites..but you had nothing that it could be used for
Sample file: I added propaganda value of 3.00 to Domascus
** if you look at the prop build and prop description I added comments there
** Once its defeated you will be able to build a granite/stele monument then
** for Rahtoh I also added Active statement and Inactive statement to it
Again, only my suggestions ... LOL my first map is much the same
