So when is the Beta?

I really enjoyed being on the Beta Test team for CotN, and am definately interested in participating if you guys and gals at TM open Beta testing to us again.

Besides, that way I can get my fix a little sooner... :D

This thread will be a year old before the beta testing starts :D But we'll all have plenty of time to get our computers into tip-top shape ;)

You are probably looking at spring/summer 2006 for a beta. The website says the game will be out "Fall 2006".

I don't recall there ever being an upper limit on age. ;) Lower limits are mostly due to legal constraints, however, if I understand correctly.

Don't worry about it yet. The beta is far far off in the distance for now. My guess is that you'll need to be eighteen or older.

Hope no offense was taken :D Some of the city builder betas even had folks younger than 18 taking part but I'm sure that required their parents permission :p Usually the NDA is the problem since a contract to be binding must be signed by a person of legal age.

I was 17 when I took part in the Emperor beta, and I didn't need my parents' permission... just print the NDA, sign it and fax the thing back. For the CotN beta though, you had to be 18 years or older. I suspect that's going to be the case with Caesar IV as well.
