I believe that the translation of the game is handled by Vivendi Universal Games marketing department.....at least it used to be. TM is probably only doing the english language version.

I used to know a little bit of Russian, now all I can do is read the letters... heh.

Хорошо, что вы выучили русские буквы. :)

Just started to listen to some learning Russian CDs. I've only gone through one 30 minute session so far and learned enough to say:

я не понимаю русский язык

Although I had to rely on translator for the letters, since I cannot read or write Russian. :)

I've never had much russian and have forgotten most of it. I still can read (most of) the letters, but only block letters. Handwriting is simply impossible for me...

But Babelfish helps... :D

But it would be good to create special *.txt files with all texts in the game.

Добро пожаловать Welcome
Привет Ziffer! Приятно познакомиться! :)

Было бы очень интересно играть COTN или C4 на русском языке. К сожалению, мне придется все играть на английском, так как нет на моем.

A fun way to learn Russian letters is not to use the standard Russian order of letters which comes with Windows. There are other systems ("Russian ASDF Keyboard Layout") where the letters are organized the way they are in our (meaning English, German and so on) keyboards. You can write something let's say in English but it comes out in Cyrillic letters. Then try to read it. It's pretty funny.

I have one of those little programs and don't need a second keyboard. Only a а few letters I have to remember, like writing Finnish I have Ä but writing Russian there is Ь.
