1. There was an apprentice-teacher relationship between the player and Caeser. That is good!!! The player's relationship between the player and Caeser, at least at the beginning of the game, should be encouraging, confiding, even a little flattering. It just makes the game more fun. :D

2. Whenever I saw marble, I thought of "big bucks" or "big ducats" or whatever they called money. Same with shields (which were visually beautiful).

3. It was fun to have huge coffers filled with gold. It would have been more fun to have something to spend it on (such as a more expensive palace, monuments, etc.) Maybe colleseums and hypodromes should be really expensive?

4. Large structures should take time to build. There should be an animation that shows the colleseum being built (and opened).

5. Wine is great for throwing city wide parties. Let's see some animations of Romans partying in the street (tastefully).
