There is sure to be an editor! .... All good games shipped out recently have got one!

yes please! Even if I probably will not have time myself to build maps, I would love to play the creations of others.

If they dont have an editor, and do what they did in CotN (provide such a limited number of scenarios packaged with the game) alot of people will be very discouraged and may never buy a TM game again.

Don't worry they will beyond a shadow of a doubt include an editor
it just would't feel right if I couldn't make my own maps.

Personally, I'm still amazed that people still think that they have to request an editor at all.
I think editors are now pretty much required features and TM knows it.

I agree with you Keith. The common issue nowadays is more : will it be "modable"?

Depends how complex the game is and whether the editor can allow the player to easily manipulate the required data. The one for COTN was substandard and its 'not being supported' was one of the lamest things Ive seen lately in a section of the game industry where 'modding' is expected.
