Please let me know why you answered yes.
I want to know if I should do it.

Now I realize this would be hard to pull off, but I would like to be able to follow the progress of the beta w/o the beta. They spend the time & I add my thoughts & questions TO the testers.
To rant for/against what IS going on even if I am not a beta tester.

Well of the 4 questions I answered 3 of them :D Don't care all that much for being the first to see a game. But the other 3 apply to me, driving the developers nuts is a part of the fun. TM folks are so good natured that I know they understand. Personally like to be a small part of having a great game come to market.

ummm you do not have one for NO!.....oooh i see the heading now.....hmmm for ones that said yes......ahhh ok.....lol.
I have no intention of even tryin to beta for c4 am not interested in the slightest.....I wanna wait till the game comes out this time....sorta took the sting out of it with CotN cause i had played it for sevral months before i finally got it. I really had nothing to get excited over.......so gonna wait. there are a few other reasons why too but not going to go into that.......anyway can you tell I am a very paitent person.....must wanna make you all wanna strangle me! LOL.
I will say this though about the beta with CotN.....and I know the other beta;s will agree.
it was a great enviroment...all the other beta's helped you out and worked on idea's together.
the devs were 100% amazing...I mean they bent over backwards for me in the begining when i had major pc hassels and really were 100% involded in everything they also followed up on anything and everything.
the bug reporting site we used was really well done....you could add your bugs, search for ones already posted, add to them. it was very well made. (it had been the first time I had seen anything like that, maybe other testers used it for other games but i had not before...i thought it was amazing)
the devs also listened to us and changed things.....the tutorial was not what you see now for example.
although I will not test.....i recomend anyone to try and get into the test for c4 not just cause you wanna see the game and stuff but just cause it was a very exciting, educational and kinda fun expearience.....TM really did a great job.

Its good to be able to make a contribution to a game, and if even one idea of mine can be implemented then that is satifying. Mind you finding bugs is important as well. I remember one that struck me in Zeus when my gods multiplied uncontrollable all over the screen. It was a scream to see! :D

I can finally vote in this one.
Everything BUT: ... I love to drive the devs nuts
This is not my purpose; it would just turn out that way...

Even though it's nice to see the game before "the masses" I can honestly say that's not the reason I liked beta testing CotN....it was more the feeling of being able to have some influence (be it large or small) on the final product. My only complaint about the beta was that everyone seemed to report my bugs first! But hopefully that will change this time around...I got a new compy. :D Take that speed demons!!! :p
