I would like to suggest experienced or fast-learning CotN Editor users post their favorite "editor tricks" to share in this thread with newer editors.
User-created scenarios have been very popular! The Editor is a bit tricky but several users have clearly mastered it!
Making it easy for new editors to find things
As a way to make it easier on new editors, perhaps each contributor could make one post only (for example MyUserName's Editor Tricks) and then keep editing that post to add and organize your tips?
Types of things to share:
. Creating maps (terrain, resources, plantlife, animal life, people)
. Creating stories (plotlines, events, characters)
. Creating worlds (other cities, locales)
. Creating triggers (interactions between player and world and map events)
. Avoiding Editor crashes
. Understanding Editor quirks ("do X this way, not that way")
. Understanding Editor options ("how to...")
hm... I missed a few...
