1. I'd like best if there was no gods, or at least I could disable them.

2. Realistic farms, the ones in C3 wheren't exactly realistic, one patch of crops growing and waiting ripe for others to grow? . The Pharoah ones were nice.

1) Again, Gods were included in C3 because it was relevant to the game as a historical city builder. Romans genuinely believed - as did others aka greeks, egyptians, celts etc and many civiliations still do belive - that the gods/spirits have a divine influence on the workings of the world. 2000 years later is abit late to argue with em yer? The point of the game is to build a city as the romans did. They had to pay tribute to the gods so so should we. (note: celts were killed by the romans when they refused to worship roman gods)

2) Yes I agree with you here. I think farms should cover more land require more labour, and show people working the fields etc.

Most Romans sure did believe in them, but it wasn't real. So why include a incorrect belief? It jus makes it nastier for folks like me.

Or, just enable them to be turned off. ;)

Well, I guess Roman Gods were not real in the sense you didn't see them, wheather the people believed in them or not. But temples and shrines were real, they had those in Roman times, so why not in our C4 game?

In CoTN there is no way of turning the Gods off because they are not included in the game. It is the people in CoTN who believe in them; it is not a question about you or me, or what the modern people think about it. In CoTN we build shrines and temples to satisfy our people, it is the CoTN people who want to visit shrines whatever we think about it. I certainly hope TM is going to have this way with religion and the numerous Gods there were in ancient Rome.

I'll bite: is there a correct belief then ;).

If you're truly offended by another religion than yours, I would agree with the option to turn any possible god effects off, however, the Romans wanted to have dozens of temples to a gazillion gods in their city and Caesar IV must include religion as a prerequisite for housing evolution in my opinion.

If they do, once again I hope they'll include a C4model to edit their wants. I hated the religion part.

Then with all due respect I think your playing the wrong game.....

The point of Caesar's is build a roman city and when in rome do as the romans do.

You cannot ignore their religion. And as far as being 'incorrect' it is no more incorrect then any other religion; that is to say there are many religion's around today and many people chose to worship only one - but you cannot ignore the fact that the others "exist" and are fully valued by other people.
A religion believed in by a person today wether it be christianity, budha, islam or whatever, is no more real to the person who worships it than to another person who worshiped their own religion along time ago.

For a game that includes a religion that was around 2000 years ago, i think its just plain immature for people to have hissy fits about it upsetting their own faith. Its a GAME!? get over it.
