Or has everyone moved on to other things? Also are there any other english sites that have maps to download?

I'm working on three scenarios, but I don't have much time these days. Building a decent scenario is a long, greuling process. At the earliest, I could get the first scenario done in three to four weeks. :)
MAX-1 is working on his sequel to his scenario, but he hasn't mentioned anything new about it.

Thanks, I have more fun doing the user scenarios than the in game ones!

I agree - would love some new user-created scenarios to try...

Just posting to let you know that a new scenario is on its way in a few weeks. :) I've gotten back into editing and kind of figured out how some of the triggers work. I should have a working "beta" version very soon.
Since I'm horrible at making a nice-looking map, I'm borrowing the "Son of Ra" map, making a couple of terrain modifications. What I'm completely overhauling are the triggers in this scenario. I felt that they were too bland, even for a sandbox scenario. ;) And so I've added a couple of things to spice things up:
1) Diplomatic Options: Do you choose to make war with Nubia or pursue peaceful negotiations and ultimately, trade. Conquest of Nubia will make Nubian sites tributary cities to you, but will nonetheless bring about constant raider attacks (representing rebellions).
2) Expanded Trade Options: Some cities will offer more goods...for a price.
3) Nothing is Free: I was a bit perturbed about how cheap certain world-level sites can be and so I made some goods ridiculously expensive (forcing you to save up a lot of food for certain important goods ;) ). All materials except for Leather, Granite, and Basalt are absent from the main city map and so you have to trade for them.
4) Stubborn Raiders: Destroying a raiders' camp doesn't quash them forever. Taking their main base of operation won't be a simple walk in the park. :D

Now this is a very interesting post, Stringbags. I noticed that you have written those scenarios & I have never tried them.
Question
You have submitted only one user-created scenario on this forum & it was long ago.
Why? Are there others who also kinda ignore our forum? Turf wars?
Has TM denied such links here on our forum?
Please help us & me!
TM & Jeremy?
I am talking about specific links in the User-Created Scenario section, cuz THAT is where I look. What are we (I) missing? I found a post in the Foreign Language section that even links to scenarios in foreign languages. I would even be willing to try them also & I'm sure other English speaking players would love to struggle through them also.
I am a lazy dummy & need them put right under my nose.
:)
I just downloaded all three (normal). "The Compressed (Zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted" for Ombos-normal.

Ombos is that "Kom Ombo" scenario released quite a while ago. Was it TombRaider that made it...? I forget... :o
Anyways, I'm hunting for some historical info to make my next scenario. :)
