PHOENIX - The World Baseball Classic resumes today with five games on the schedule, including the first game for the U.S. team. The U.S. takes on Mexico in Phoenix at 4 p.m. EST.
Jake Peavy of the San Diego Padres [HOOT! :D ] will start on the mound for the Americans while Baltimore's Rodrigo Lopez gets the call for Mexico.
The U.S. lineup features three New York Yankees [Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!]: third baseman Alex Rodriguez, shortstop Derek Jeter and center fielder Johnny Damon.
