i have never played any of the caesar games, but i do love city builders, i own COTN... and i love it!!! so im anticipating the new caesar... i have played phaoroah and cleopatra... they were good... so ill wait and see if i can get this one!!!

The Caesar games were really, really good. Actually, the first Caesar game was my introduction to the genre, back when I was still young, handsome and successful, and it kept me playing through more nights than I care to remember! If you enjoyed CotN, I'm pretty sure that you'll also appreciate Caesar IV, when it comes out in a few months. So, welcome to the TM boards -- grab a seat and stick around, as more information on C4 will become available. I'm still really thrilled that a new Caesar game will be released, since I thought the end had come together with Impressions' close-down. I'm more than happy that I was wrong!

Beleive me, you'll be hooked if you play Caesar 3. Try it! The funniest and the most headache part in the game are on Market Ladies :p

Caesar 2 & 3 are surely worth to buy, or as collections. But forget about Caesar 1 :D

C3 is more challenging than Pharaoh because of NO roadblocks. Gatehouse as a substitution.

10 years later, I and my wife are still playing C2 (two) on my ancient machine of 133 MHz with Win 95 :p... Bill Gates is paying me to use this antique Windows LOL :D

well i had bought C3... but it didnt work on my computer... dont kno why.. but it didnt... lol... and i can handle civ 4... so imjust waititng patiently!

I must say my favorite strategy game is Stronghold Crusader (I don't know why, maybe it's the time period). I was crazy about Caesar III when it came out and still like to play it sometimes, so Caesar IV could very well replace Stronghold Crusader for me. I hope this one's as good as Caesar III, because the kind of gameplay that game offers combined with insane graphics is going to be amazing.

stronghold crusaders is good. but i think i like the first one better.... they have totally different gameplay... so ill prob still play both...
