Methinks we may have to wait until E3, King. I'm not happy about it, but what can we do?

Continue to search other sites for news?

( I still luv ya, TM! :) Remember, we are STILL Children of the Nile & kids are NEVER satisfied :p !!! )

TM has to wait until VUG lets them post updates.

The one guy I have contact with as moderator over at VUG says he is now in charge of marketing for Caesar IV. He says they're going to start releasing a lot more information soon and the website will be greatly updated.

BS

OK, let's give Tony some sample excuses:

1) Chris made me do it!

2) They had bacon-wrapped hot dogs & you didn't!

3) We are kissing up to the Reviewers, BIG TIME!

4) I lost my Forum password!

Any others?

:D

Tony needs all the help he can get, Celebithil Dae! ;)

Now, let me remind you all of something & let Tony Leier off the hook (a bit).

No one, absolutely NO ONE from TM has EVER spilled ANY beanz on this forum about C4 EXCEPT for TONY LEIER & he did it EARLY!.

I absolutely LOVE him!

Refer to this thread: How will C4 work: Big Picture? (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6917)

Also MATT ZIMMITTI in this thread, but it was like pulling teeth! Storage yards with VISIBLE goods! (http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6811) Matt actually broke new ground & beats Tony in the Gold Medal Challenge!

:) :) :)

That leaves Jeff Fiske who I absolutely beat up over COTN. He's the real EVIL one. Matt even had to beg to Jeff about the storage yards leak. ;) :p :D

Hi all,

You want some 'splanin'?

Well, computer games are made when a group of people who like games very much decide to throw a bunch of ones and zeros into a million Amiga computers operated by 2 million caffeine addled monkeys, and sees what comes out. If we're lucky, we may get some screenshots and game info out of that insane mess in the time leading up to release. However, as you can imagine, it's pretty much a totally unpredictable process. Like David and Reed sometimes say- updates and such come when they come. We'll see about overclocking the Amiga's to speed that up though.

Regarding the latest previews- for this new batch of screenshots and info, we decided to give it to the press first- they like that sort of thing. It gets news about the game out to millions of people. Sure, the uncounted multitudes might not be as cool as all you folks on our forums, but, it was the multitudes turn to get stuff first.

I'm hoping to have more time to chat on the forums- I do read them when I get a spare moment. But, with E3 just 2 weeks away (eek!), and my Pre-E3 trip last week, and tons of stuff to do making the game, I've been slightly busy.

ps. Don't underestimate the power of a bacon-wrapped hotdog and a cold beer.

Ha... I heard about some cookie diet on the radio the other day, maybe a double bacon-wrapped hotdog diet isn't far off!?

Bugsy

It's already here Jeremiah. That's the no-carb diet. :D :D

Edit: That J gets me every time. Sorry Jeremiah!

As a "natural" hunger, I boycott no-carb or low-carb diets :D:p

Hi all,

You want some 'splanin'?

Yeah, we do

Well, computer games are made when a group of people who like games very much decide to throw a bunch of ones and zeros into a million Amiga computers...

Stop right there, pal!

This explains EVERYTHING!

Proud Atari Person here!

Regarding the latest previews- for this new batch of screenshots and info, we...

Aha! Excuse #1

...decided to give it to the press first- they like that sort of thing.

Aha! Excuse #3

ps. Don't underestimate the power of a bacon-wrapped hotdog and a cold beer.

Aha! Excuse #2

Bonus points for including the cold beer!

C'mon Tony! You could have hit ALL the bases by including #4... :D

~ ~ ~

OK kids, do I add a poll as to whether or not Tony's post satisfies us now, or wait for a better set of excuses from Him & rate the Second attempt?

PS ~ You just knew there HAD to be a PS, no? Ummmm Jeremy, deleting this thread will not help Tony at all! :D

I would have to say his answer satisfies me at least. New info is new info, no matter who sees it first. ;)

You are a Luminary, Bugsy. Your "opinion" is just a bit tainted.

:D

Meanwhile, the rest of US are a very tough crowd to please!

Celebithil Dae

Well, im satisfied anyways. For now. But they better be truckin in some bacon wrapped hot-dogs REAL soon. Im getting hungry beyond all belief!

And yeah, i suppose it would make the press people feel speshul and all.

Silly monkeys.
