Sierra/Vivendi should pass over the crackpipe they're smoking... I wouldn't pay 30 for a boxed set of games that old, regardless of how good they were.
We have / had (saw myself a few months ago) a combo pack for European market; The Biggest Creators of Empires. It has all six Sierra CBs: Ceasar3, Pharaoh and Cleo, Zeus and Poseidon and Emperor. I boughted it for 19.90 euros (about 25 US dollars), since I didn't have Zeus and Poseidon. They all work on my windows XP without any difficulties. You might still find it somewhere for sale.

Reminds me of the Space Quest collections and such, they go for a premium on eBay too. Supply and demand!

I must have misread it then.... I could have sworn that Vivendi had it on their site for $70.00 a few months back.

Heh, I've got three unopened copies of Great Empires Collection II here just in case my original C3, Pharaoh, Zeus, or Emperor CDs stop working, that I'm not letting go for any price.

You will not even donate to a noble cause, like the brainrotting of a particular forum member from FL? :D

I've seen that collection on sale at Fry's for half the price.

I have the original disks to those, not that collection though. You should see what the old Final Fantasy games on nes and snes go for on ebay. Some of those collectors shell out serious cash.

no, the ideas of consolidating old cb's in a dvd set is a good one. this marketing strategy just might work.

I only have one copy of Emperor, though. I have definitely been lagging with my backups.

Do American version PC games work in Europe - I know films and such dont, but not sure about games. The PC's all come from there anyway....

The games should work. You just have to get American patches.

Ahhhh. The reason I ask is because I have a much better chance of getting CB games off the US site than I would ever have off the UK one. Now all I need is money...........................

A lot of places won't ship out of the states....some legal restrictions, but there are those that will.
