Hi,

I'm having problems getting the install to work. It loads correctly, but when I get to the license agreement and scroll down completely, I still can't move on to the next stage of the installation because the required option button remains disabled no matter what I do. I've downloaded the game three different times thinking the fault was mine but it apparently isn't.

Any suggestions, or has someone else experienced this same problem?

I'm here too Azuka. Did you click on the I AGREE button manually like I asked you to on the Sierra boards?

Edit: I just checked and see you did.

I don't know what to tell you then.

What happens when you do. Anything?

I'm sorry for running here. I thought I'd be able to get differing opinions. :)

I'll stick to the other forum since we have a good line of communication there.

Thanks for all the help.

No, you can come here too. That's not what I meant.

I just jump back and forth between the two because I'm active on both.

I really don't know what to tell you. Your the first one that has a problem with the license agreement part of the install. Mouse driver problem maybe?

Try using the TAB button to see if it will select the I AGEE button and then press ENTER.

My last idea, reboot to Safe Mode and install that way.

same exact problem. I have downloaded it from 2 different locations and still have the same problem. TABBING to the option does not work because it is disabled completely, greyed out.

At least you are getting that far. I can't even begin to install it. I'm getting a setup.exe error (encountered an error and needs to close, blah, blah) as soon as I double-click on the .exe file .

Any ideas? I re-downloaded it in case the file was corrupted. Still no dice.

EDIT: Third time was a charm. D-loaded from File Planet this time and it installed. Won't run...but it's a start ;)

I had the same problem. I found that if you scroll all the way down using the arrow control instead of the mouse wheel that it then allowed you to pick the I agree section. Sadly for me the demo would not work. I need to upgrade my mother board and processor. :(

Actually the fix for this is to alter the text size. Hold down the SHIFT key while moving the mouse scroll wheel to enlarge or make smaller the text in the EULA box and then scroll to the bottom of the box. The AGREE button should become available. It's worked for a number of folks over on the Sierra forums.

I am afraid it`s not a start.

Your card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 and it has only DirectX 7

Caesar4-Demo and Fullgame wants DirectX 9

same problem here, can't accept EULA....

BUT

with this trick I made it! Only one thing: the key is the CTRL!

Right. It is the CTRL key and not the SHIFT key.
