It could be a technical problem, but also a 'new gameplay thingie'...

If it's raining in my game, i can not do anything, because i can't see anything... It is just to dark and blurry... Good effects, very realistic! In the demo it is not really a problem, only annoying (i love the rain though, in games.). But if you are playing the full version and they are attacking you, then there is a problem, because you can not see the enemy...

Can you do anything if it's raining in Caesar4? Is there a setting that i can change, without turning off the whole wheather effect thing? i could not find it.

Yes I can see that could be a big problem.
I have seen the option for disabling the day/night thing, but not the weather effects. Must say I haven't been looking for it, yet. :o :p

I believe the video settings has a gamma slider control. If it is too dark you can increase the gamma setting. Of course when it is not raining the normal screen may be too bright.

Phil, I am not sure would Loerelau's or my Dxdiag help anything here. (BTW have you tried the demo yet?) :)

Here are two snapshots. The first one is the original taken during a storm in my city. The other one is the same pic gone through photoshop elements: its quick fix and then
I made it a considerably brighter. Not a pretty sight if you want to see exactly what is going on there. I watched the time; the storm started in June and ended in August. If enemy troops had been there then, I don't know what I would have been doing. Interesting, can't wait that moment! :p Sending you guys my Dxdiag? :rolleyes: ;) :D
