I know I have a lot of crapola on my computer and have been trying to get rid of some stuff and free up more memory.
However, I'm terrified(after Phil's warning) that I would delete something important.
Can anyone give me some tips to manually remove ????? Please????

Manually? No chance catgoddess. This would be too dangerous. You really have to know what is off and what is important. Fumbling in the registry by hand should only be done together with an expert.

If you use CCleaner, it has an option to save the registry before cleaning.

RegSeeker also lets you restore any thing you remove from the registry as long as you have the small check box checked at the bottom left of the screen.

Creating an XP restoring-point is also recommended befoer any cleaning is done.......;)

After cleaning the registry, cleanup the disks, free up RAM, uninstall unused programs, my computer doesn't seems to be fast enough........ Just a little bit faster but still lag when playing C4.........Is there anyway to make it faster?? (not updating the hardware) I don't think I need to waste more money to update my computer, but why the other people with lower spec PC still can play C4 demo without lagging but I am lagging seriously??
Thanks:)
Note : I am using Advanced System Optimizer to clean the registry. It will automatically create a restore point automatically when you cleanup the registry, and with other features to make your computer cleaner and faster. I didn't heard about it last time, at least can make my PC a litter bit faster :P

Good idea but wrong order of succession. Better would be:
cleanup the disks
uninstall unused programs
cleanup restore-points but the last (could be masses!)
reboot
cleaning the registry
defragging!!!
Just a little bit faster but still lag when playing C4.........Is there anyway to make it faster??
Yes!
Checking systemstart for senseless entries
virusguard off for the time of playing
optimising page file size
running on 16bit 60Hz
ingame-settings on medium or low
(not updating the hardware)
How`s about UPDATING the drivers? :) :)
Advanced System Optimizer, at least can make my PC a litter bit faster
True.

One other choice you opt for is to run the Microsoft Live Safety Center (http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/update/windows_live_safety_center.mspx) and let it scan your entire system for problems. When it is done it locks the old restore points and makes them inaccessable and then makes a new restore point.
The scan scans your hard drive, your memory, your registry and other areas. You must have a valid licensed copy of XP to use the Live Safety Center.

Thanks for your suggestion and I might need to try it. Now I got at least 25 programs that used 60GB of my HDD. So........it will also cause lagging??
Thanks:)
P.S. I am playing at all medium settings (in-game).

Its already a long time since I uninstall it. I found the registry of it manually (regedit). So, what can I do?? Just delete it manually??(doesn't found in my 2nd registry cleaner scan, but still there) Erm.......if I format my computer (with partition on (C:\), will things become better??(but it takes a long time....)
Thanks:)
P.S. Yes, I don't know how to do the 'best delete' for the registry:p
