Nothing. There is no Kobra2009, and he doesn't have 2 kids and three computers. Never mind. There used to be these things called "Books". If a family owned one, and Dad was reading it, and the kidlets (nowadays known as "Bosses") wanted to read it, Dad had a choice to make. Back when Dad was Dad. B...

What on earth does that have to do with anything?

heres what your precious stardock CEO has to say about this issue, which he classifies as an "illegitimate complaint about DRM": Illegitimate Complaints: "Keeps people from installing the program on as many PCs as they own." I own an office full of PCs. I don't think Microsoft would be happy if I i...

Yeah, I never bother replacing town members with higher level ones. Unless for some reason you're critically low on space, you might as well just hire the extra person and keep the old one. The level of non-party members only really comes into play if you want them to defend the town from raiders, a...

You don't have to buy the resource upgrades you know, though I guess an option in the starting screen to turn them off would be nice. Maybe the game could do something like NetHack does, where you can set yourself personal conditions and you get score bonuses because of them. For example: 1. "Caring...

I like this idea too. I also think it would be nice if the villagers who produce equipment for you (Wizards, Smiths etc) would ask you to go collect special ingredients to make super items. So, a Weapon Smith might ask you to go find him a piece of Star Iron he can use to forge a +20 sword, or a Wiz...

I've personally given up rushing for high scores because I found it frustrating dying all the time as I rushed everything. However, I did figure out a few things before I gave up: 1. The outlaw's extra score multiplier more than makes up for his lack of fame 2. Food is worth more than gold, so try a...

I'm just wondering if any one has found any better items for a caster than this: Barbaric Amulet (+10) Meteoric Staff (+8, I've never found this with any modifier on it yet) Barbaric Gali(something or other) robes of fire (+15) It seems to me when it comes to wands and staves, I occasionally find a...

I'd like to be able to only have to click once on an enemy to start attacking them, if this means that there needs to be a larger clickable area around the mob then so be it. A good 70 to 80% of the time, I've already gotten beat down 1/8th of my toons health before I can get him/her to start attac...

I noticed that when I chose stat boosting traits (Agile, Tough, Deadly etc) I can actually see the associated stat going up. I've had characters where I chose Deadly 2 or 3 times and I'm pretty sure the attack bonus stacked with each time I chose it. I'd assume that all of the bonuses stack...

The Sun God prayer does apply to you, if you have the Resilience trait. The It speeds up your regeneration from 0.1 dps to 0.3dps or something. You could also have the light priest do the Sun God prayer while the High Priest comes with you I suppose...

There's also a Green book called an Almanac that boosts both Farmers and Herders.

Oh yeah, and if you take a farmer or a herder out fighting, don't forget to give them their pitchfork back :)

I think the price is about right. Like you say, in late game you have heaps of money so it's easy to afford it, but to be fair you don't actually *need* them because they can't make anything as good as the uber loot the monsters are dropping. 70 gold is low enough that you can get them early/mid gam...

Nah, it's a bug caused by the latest patch. I just had them when I was playing a hardcore game and was killed by an invisible troll raider too. A dev just announced in another thread that they've fixed the issue and nearly have another patch ready to fix it. I think you just had bad luck, raiders ca...

I noticed the lack of loot too, in between being beaten to death by invisible trolls and searching for invisible buildings. There wasn't anything in the patch notes about reducing the drop rates though... I hope this was a deliberate reduction rather than just another bug/glitch. It was nice to feel...
