CBC is closed.

We have had a good ten years, but since it doesn't look like there will be any more City Building games, I have decided to close the site. It was a 300.00 cost per year which was considered an ok expense, but since no one uses it any more I asked our webmaster Pecunia to find a storage/archive locat...

I'm trying to save money so turned down the heat to 62f,,,,, then got out the feather comforters... Two for the bed, and one for the telly chair. Lilly Rose, the cat, has decided she is a lap cat when the blankets cover her. Nothing like a warm lap for the little beasties.

There are so many Medieval games out there. What do you think the game should focus on? I know some want a castle/knight game, or a culture game. What focus would you like?

What would make the game different and exciting from other Medieval games?

Artemis, MP space ship bridge simulator.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72XhdVqDT1g&list=PL532DC01F548EE15C&index=1 I played this tonight with a few friends. We needed a voice connection, but all felt like we were in the ship. I imagine being in the same room playing the game would be perfect simulation, but it works well with any voice c...

I saw Jeff online in forum today.. Am sure he reads everything. Economy still not back, so hope all improves for devs. Seems its that way around for many of them. (fewer customers, fewer investors)

Design your own game .. build your company. http://www.greenheartgames.com/app/game-dev-tycoon/ I wish I had more keys to give. Maybe might happen later. My friend gave out a batch and I gave one to Greg S. an old friend, and kept the other for myself.

Please, a way to zoom out and see the whole map, or a LOT of it. I loved cotn, but I felt lost on a large map since I could not sort out where in the heck I was.

Here is a two day old review. I hear they finally have enough servers to take care of the number of players trying to connect. I'm not too keen on "always online." There are just too many kooks out there who might breach my firewall if I gave them a lot of time to do so. http://www.gamespot.com/feat...

Games like Civilization has random maps generated by fractals. It is a rather specialized skill for a game dev. Wouldn't it be nice tho.. but hell for a Mod maker who relies on a specific map for his design.

Hello Gents, TM and their former Affiliations always had a modding capability. Some of them were easy to use, others required tech abilities. I would love to have a simple to use Modding feature. There would be no citybuildingcontests.com without that modding capacity. We have enjoyed playing with t...
