A better solution would be to--assuming exploit prevention is the goal--come up with a new requirements table based on how big the warehouse actually has to be to hold the required stuff. I've never overstacked my warehouse but suddenly I have to spend days upgrading them because as currently implem...

Totally agreed. My gripe with the 1/level range is it screws over new players who can't easily get access to the local nomes for resources. 'Direct trade' is a fine suggestion if you're from Team Alpha and started out with loads of connections, but it doesnt help much if all the locals are either as...

NOT cool. You've just created a bigger gap between those in the top 100 and those who could possibly come up a bit more. This is a definite undo. Agreed with this with respect to markets. I can understand not wanting people with upgraded markets to have huge range, but lets not forget that on...

Boosting the defense advantage won't do jack, AFAIK troops are pure offensive (i.e. 1 HP each with bonuses applied to damage) and raider tactics are all about overwhelming odds so in the long run it wouldnt help. Capping combat odds on the other hand would--if my chances of victory against your 100 ...

Excellent, the Nubian Trader should take care of some of the hair-pulling associated with being new and in an undeveloped area. :)

AFAIK the MAC address of a computer is not known to any website you visit, unless it's using some fancy Java/whatever addons to collect hardware information. Looking through source for some of the pages, I'm seeing a lot of stuff that doenst look like ordinary HTML/JS so I'm assuming there are at l...

If TM has any sense they're also using some combination of tracking cookies and IP/MAC logging, all of which can be fairly easily avoided for stuff like NO thats just plain vanilla HTTP data.

Well it could be they were desperate for scuplture and had lots of extra cosmetics. 9.1 vs 7.2 sounds about right for the actual ideal labor-hour costs but since the 'cheaper' goods require trading with others and/or shipping between cities (i.e. throw in taxes and dead boat storage) it comes out ab...

I kinda agree, too many bandits and being who I am I sorta feel bad not contributing a fair chunk of the troops. At least the milmat sellers are getting some nice profits. :)

It's worth noting that even with all the minmaxing being active in military is an expensive endeavor. As you are new, I would recommend focusing on city upgrades until you have, say, 1000 laborers across all your cities to think about supporting military operations.

Yep, you need a level 9 warehouse to found third city. Which shouldnt be too terribly hard compared to all the other goods you need to come up with.

I kinda got the impression TM's policy is they guarantee the city for 10 days, after which it may or may not get purged based on their algorithms and/or whether Reed feels like running an update query that day.

Totally disagreed. Its already way too easy to save-and-spend, allowing people to recoup the cost of their soldiers would make it even worse. I could field a raid like every 2 days if I got most of the build cost back.
