:( All I did was send ppb to Tink to irritate him, I'm sadly not big enough yet to nuke him, and I never will. Friendly request to a rich Pharaoh to donate Tink out of the game. Of course I did that of my own accord, there's no question my my scheming with Malkata, let alone Mr Ears or Pontius Pilat...

The palace upgrades require 6504 sculpture, 10260 cosmetics, 8880 sandals, 7625 perfume and 34289 jewels. That probably accounts for new towns not costing jewels, the fourth town option was after all added later. Those numbers must mean more, but I'll leave an explanation of all the fine details to ...

You must also keep in mind what resources are much in demand and what resources are being overproduced. If there are a lot of henna sellers about, it might make more sense to take kohl, if that's hard to get, or oil, for the same reason.

During the Tomb Raid quest your envoys uncovered ruins, earning you:

+ 1113 bricks in your capital city

Added so somebody can update the wiki with this new record low. :(

I had something odd with the scrolls box - I couldn't open new messages. I disabled the new Skype extension and things were back to normal.

But it will take a lot longer to get those goods, so that it may be better not to use them at all while you're small.

Some more hints: I have a level 9 town and a level 10 emeralds deposit and a level 4 market, and that's probably still too high, considering what's offered there. I make lots and lots of emeralds and jewels and trade them for pots, baskets, bricks and other goods, roughly in that order. The game is ...

Not quite, I remember reading about it on Dutch news websites. I suppose some new tombs were unearthed and the journalists didn't listen too well to the archaeologists, or they ignored the warning that there was nothing new in it.

One solid disadvantage of complimentary goods (for instance gold and ems) is that you will soon be overproducing that lux good, and if that lux good isn't much in demand, then you have a huge problem. Finding a trade partner for the raw good you need is much better, and gets you more contacts.

if you make profile items trade-able.. then there not any fun anymore not only dose it ruin them as a lux/cedar/bread (depending) sink it makes them pointless really to try for... I can just buy them with stuff... scarabs for profile items.. Not quite - you might spend weeks just waiting for the la...

I like Pharaoh most as well. Emperor has better graphics, indeed I love them, but the military interface is terrible. So much so that when the CD got scratched so badly that it was no longer readable, I wasn't sorry. I still fire up Pharaoh at times. I feel happy when the juggler says that there's n...

Ikariam has a much better set of rules for dealing with inactive players: deletion depends on how long you have been in. It's also a matter of common sense. What does a person stand to lose if his/her level 1 town with practically nothing built yet and not producing anything by its deletion? On the ...

People who used free scarabs to get inactivity deletion protection, didn't really buy that protection. There are hundreds (or even thousands?) of inactive single level 1 town players, who have been inactive for weeks or months. What's wrong with deleting them? OTOH, they aren't really in the way, at...
