Freezes mostly occur when I have written a text and CtrlC them to have them still when the editor crashes. ;) Needless to say I have to reboot and they are gone nonetheless

LOL Yeah I started keeping them in a text file.

Thanks for the replys. I guess I never caught the carpenters or maybe they just didn't have enough food to buy cedar. The sculpters will spend themselves down to like 10 food left buying basalt I've noticed. Just glad to know it isn't a bug and it isn't me losing my mind. Anyone figure out how much ...

Basalt and cedar

Ok, call me crazy but I thought statuemakers using basalt and furniture maker using cedar was patched out like 1.1 and now it is back with 1.3? I can't find anything about it in the patch notes for any of the patches but I went back to one of my 1.2 saves and there's 28 small statues in my dop. Sinc...

Oh, right. Yeah I was looking for fixing along the lines of "oops I went a few tiles too far..that high flood goes right into where I wanted to build"
It seems like at that point you either live with it or start a new map.

Not sure I get you with using the paint cliffs (even with the screens). Do that and then go back and paint high flood and fp again? Shrinking the riverbed itself doesn't seem to be a problem; it's getting the surrounding terrain fixed again.
Thanks for that other info.

Has anyone figured out a good method to make the river smaller? I've found it is easy to make the river wider if you have a spot you don't like but trying to shrink it makes a mess. I've gone through all of Matt's tuts (in fact I put them in a word doc with the pictures for easy reference) and they ...

Er, that conflicts with what Tinkerbell just said. So which is it? I suppose we'll need a third person to break the tie. :p I have never seen them change either (granted I generally don't let them pick either). I would suspect that they will not HOWEVER if the shop goes out of business, goes vagran...
