I've also been waiting for "offline," playability. But it still remains visually lovely. :) At some point I'm going to pick it up, I am sure.

Me too about the ideas. It's one of the reasons I really like the city journals (especially with the ones that still have pics).

And yep, I love your stuff Azeem. :) So thank you for all your Modding effort. :)

I agree. I love looking at what other people have done, just to see what ideas spark. Thank you for your kind comments. :)

Thank you! I've been having fun figuring out new things to do with this as I strive to win the hardcore prizes. (I didn't know they existed until recently... so... it's like almost a new game for me. ). :)

Very pretty! I don't own SC2013 for a variety of reasons, including the fact I'm not sure it would even run on my machine, but those are some lovely images. Thank you for sharing this.

Simtopia 2014 (City Journal) pt. 3

Simtopia 2014 had a really awesome University too. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20Simtopia%202014/SimTopia_1149.jpg Did I mention it was seriously spiritual? http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20Simtopia%202014/SimTopia_1151.jpg Yeah, and of course, more pla...

Simtopia 2014 (City Journal) pt. 2

Like others, this city grew, developing slowly, but surely into what it would become later. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20Simtopia%202014/SimTopia_1123.jpg http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20Simtopia%202014/SimTopia_1124.jpg It was a spiritual haven, even...

Simtopia 2014 (City Journal)

I forgot to change out the name when I started, so this city is legitimately Simtopia in my game. But I have an earlier Simtopia, so I had to distinguish it somehow. Thus: Simtopia 2014. So, pics! Simtopia 2014 is a happy little town. It was that way right from the start. http://i364.photobucket.com...

Love it...

Great town! Thank you for sharing this. I admit, the aspect of keeping the houses super close together was one I forgot, but there is a definite charm to close neighborhoods.

Cool. :)

E. Gantry (City Journal) Pt. 3

Still E. Gantry kept to it's roots and there were plenty of wide open spaces for camping and just enjoying nature. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20E%20Gantry/EastGantry_1203.jpg http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20E%20Gantry/EastGantry_1205.jpg http://i364.p...

E. Gantry (City Journal) Pt. 2

Ghosts were plentiful in E. Gantry http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20E%20Gantry/EastGantry_1179.jpg When the Monks appeared things "lightened up," quite a bit. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20E%20Gantry/EastGantry_1182.jpg Here some citizens wade in the cr...

E. Gantry (City Journal)

I think I might let the images speak for themselves this time, but E. Gantry started off as a pokey, but spooky one horse town and morphed into a Fun City. Heh. So, one horse town - means chickens. And cows. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC%20E%20Gantry/EastGantry_1164.jpg http:/...

Vandobia (City Journal)

The town of Vandobia started off as a haven for farmers and became a party mecca. So, farmers. They loved Vandobia and showed up all over: http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC_Vandobia/Vandobia_1071.jpg Maybe it was because of the nice little farms: http://i364.photobucket.com/albums...

Cantonia (City Journal)

I'm afraid the descriptions will be sparse, but I'll start with this: Like all cities, Cantonia started small. And, unlike most, it stayed small. This was due in part to some mysterious circumstances. http://i364.photobucket.com/albums/oo84/bearblue/SSC_Catonia/Catonia_1054.jpg Here a Monk takes a m...

How to get the titles of my tiny shop to appear on the display....

I've filled out the text in the right xml page. I've located it in the same place as other files. What am I missing? Am I not putting it in the right place? *grouses* *kicks dirt*

I'll keep trying, but I needed to vent.

(Windows 7, by the way... in case someone can help with the mystery). :)

Still Here...

I'm still here. I tend to get the urge to play every six months or so. This time around I was visiting the site and found out about the nightmare scenarios. Turned out I had no idea there were more scenarios to play besides basic. I had won all the awards there. Now have started on hardcore. It's li...
