NobleSeth; two different topics/issues 1. noble cost to purchasing and maintain a tomb no rush to assign tombs to nobles until you start getting noble deaths and have extra tombs. Much more important just to have the mortuary services available and getting ahead of the royal/pharaoh death rate. Once...

Pyramids cost no more then any mastaba. about 100 food to buy into one plus 50?~100? food per burial(probably much less) and about 15 food per season to maintain them(each enhancement you allow can cost about 15 food/season) note that a number of mummies may be in storage so it can take a few years ...

LOL!
I am not surprised that the D2D November update included only a pif link. Yet, this TM company lets known bugs go unattended to for so long; at least 2 years perhaps 7 years.

Sorry if they were well known issues, as I did make an effort to check the readme.txt and searched the forum posts.

Minor issues

Game version 2.0.1.6 from D2D 1. Clicking on the 'read message history' while paused causes the game to return in an unpaused state. Requiring a double 'pause'(space or icon click) to get back to a paused state. 2. 'Emerald Jewelry' being erroneously reported as an available commodity at the Jewelry...

My cities are all minimalistic sketches of the same primative design.

Not very pretty but they work for me.

Maybe someday I will get around to making unique advanced city layouts.

Thanks for the suggestions, but normal level was a bit boring. I will try to slow down placing my nobles. Perhaps going back to filling out just one noble block at a time with 2 nobles/year rather then 3 or 4. The city has recovered by 2057; abate a bit slowly due to failed floods and too few inatte...

My Nobility take a hike: Why?

I was working on improving the religious and healthcare services coverage when a lot of the nobles had a death and decided to pack-up and head for the hill. My mortuary service was up and running with upto 2 priest attending to it. Any clue as to how to improve my gameplay or is this a standard quir...

I would like to thank Sandra Linkletter for post #20 in particular. It shed light on the 'invisible' children; to which, I was under the assumption were female but now understand are more likely sexless younger siblings. I will have to try her child tracking method on a small map when I'm in a patie...

The Bliss of COTN is that is is not exactly spreadsheetable. The game mechanics are intertwined & the game WILL change its behaviour under different circumstances, even shockingly so. This change is mainly due to what we call various tipping points. Caesar IV is entirely spreadsheetable, COTN is no...

I once did a Veggie Lab to try to make the health alerts go away. Didn't happen. Two conclusions 1) Health alerts are basically random events to make sure we have proper health services for people to goto. When we get one, everyone runs to hospital/apothecary & each only can handle so many people. ...

Threshing Area stores not being entirely moved to Granaries

Game version 2.0.1.6 from D2D 2378 Understandably, there was a small amount left in a Threshing Area because I didn't think the harvest/tax was going to be that big. My small mistake. 2377 I had built enough Granary storage, but still not all food got transfered despite there being ample space for i...
