Thoughts on Medieval Mayor/City building

Hi guys :) After reading the dev diaries, I wanted to chime in on my thoughts of what the game industry needs from city builders today. The market is flooded with turn based games that are fun for some, but just not my style. Thankfully, gog.com has all our old favorites (including my all time faves...

Hectic

Hey guys! I haven't had much time to work on much of the software testing lately, but have at least been keeping up with Nile Online while at work...yep, back at work! With my husband on second, when I get home during the week, it's hectic with the kids, dinner, soccer games, and all sorts of other ...

In RPG games dwarves have always had a higher constitution, or toughness...sturdy as a dwarf comes to mind. In HL, dwarves get the 'Tough' level upgrade from the get go, so they heal even outside of town, only slower out of town. I love it this way!

Even just a little would help, I'm getting stuck on buildings in town, or on blockages and rocks in wild when running cause I can't turn the view, nor zoom ou...

Thanks Matt, those explanations help me a lot, so I know what they are looking at. I'll get used to their rank marks on their portrait soon, I've been doing better with it with a couple of them. Havent tested at all today save to check in on my NileOnline city when passing the pc a time or two, had ...

Newst build notes

Far too tired to go get the build at the moment, but wanted to post before bed. So, on the desktop, I managed to play two campaigns, which oddly looked exactly the same...is that intended? I got experience and fame from both though. I managed to win both times, it was a lot easier for me this round ...

Vista issue? Laptop lockups

Since my desktop runs so slow at times with this, I figured I'd give it a go on the laptop. Got it downloaded, and it locks up each time...and the laptop makes a beeping noise. I can't change windows in it, but it seems there is some kind of system message that won't go away. When I did get to see i...

After never having even one, 7 seems a little much lol Notice, ZERO Character deaths! Only 2 followers bought th...

Boaster, Miutt just gave me suggestion to give the healer a bow when you're full health, and pause and give healer the staff back when you're getting low, this helps level them faster she said... To TM...that should NOT be necessary. A priest/acolyte in most RPGS will not use slashing or piercing we...

Hey guys :) Mouse had it spot on, but I'll add my thoughts to hers. When I play or test, I try everything, explore every aspect that I can. In addition to noting bugs, issues, possible glitches, it's important to note as well things you really like, and things you don't. Make sure to read all the th...
