Ever since reading Pillars of the Earth I've wanted to be able to build a cathedral. Yes, it would take many years but it could be like building the pyramids - building wooden scaffolding, quarrying stone, getting it to the right place, employing skilled workers then building it up in stages dependi...

I've been keeping my mouth shut up to now, but eventually feel I have to say something - hopefully the last thing on the subject? Fingers went to keyboard finally because I am soooo fed up with the demonising of HeavenGames. There isn't a rift between TM forumers and HG forumers - in fact, many of t...

Impressions and thoughts

No, I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth ... unfortunately some Real Life stuff prevented me from starting the game until a couple of days ago. Many apologies ... So familiar, yet so different. Houses burning down, lack of workers ... but (thank everything) no market lady :D I'm still str...

Have had CD a few days, but not installed it yet as I'm away this coming weekend.

Wondering if I've missed out on an email or communication somewhere, as I didn't know this forum was up. Or maybe I'm just terminally confused as always ;)

The problem only occurs if you press 'replay' to restart in the middle of a scenario. You will find that the patch helps in later scenarios too ... though it won't affect the one you're playing at the time of installation.

If that makes sense ...

It sounds to me as though you haven't patched the game. There was a bug at the beginning where if you pressed 'replay' at any stage in a scenario to restart it, it converted it to a non-campaign map. If that's the case, you'll find the patch(es) here - http://www.immortalcities.com/cotn/downloads/pa...

From your list of requirements, it rather sounds as though it doesn't.

(oh, and ad-aware is free ... someone in the thread said it isn't)

Ah ... just answered this in your other thread. Jay was waiting for one person to respond with name & address, but he never did so he gave up waiting & sent TM the details.

He's really busy hence, presumably, lack of reply to your mails. He has replied in the thread at CotNH though.

Have a feeling that 'guy' was me, in which case I'm a she ;) Jay was waiting for one person to respond, who never did, so people's details were sent to TM earlier this week. Re your logging in problem at CotNH, can you mail me (gillb@heavengames.com) with the names you tried to register with as I'm ...

I presume you sent it to Jay? If so there's probably been a delay as he's been sick so he may not have passed on the info yet.

Are they the right sized obelisks for the bases? There are 2 sizes - obelisks and grand (large) obelisks.

He also posted that back in December, so he's either playing now or he's given up ;)
