Hmm. No Cotnizen should starve--instead, they'll go pick wild food. Did you actually experience people starving, or was it just a lack of harvested food?

I rarely have enough dissatisfaction to catch my attention, but when I do see an "orange" building, it's usually a commander or overseer. For some reason, my scribes are abnormal and rarely complain.

Congrats! Not unnecessary, since someone else might have the same problem, and find your post w/ answer. Glad you got it working. That delta gets crowded sometimes. :D

I have to say that I don't let my citizens decide anything, with the ONE exception of nobles. I let about 2/3 of them decide what to plant. The rest I tell to plant wheat. My interpretation of my illnesses is that I generally have enough types of food in the city, but some of my farmers run out of v...

When I played Pi-Ramesses, I ended up conquering several cities, two of which required supply camps to be maintained, otherwise they would revert... I think I ended up winning with the Imshan route...

Yes I think it is a new carachteristique of this game: you usually can overcome your mistake without needing to restart like in previous CBs, which is much more enjoying. Exactly, which makes it more realistic. However, to reassure newer players or someone starting a hard level, I think I restarted...

The only game where I used cheats consistently was Tropico II: Pirate Isle. I always used the "extra wood" cheat at the start of the game at least once, sometimes twice. I liked the game but became impatient very quickly with how slowly my wood supply came in vs how unhappy my pirates became without...

...The last raider was killed just before the Pharaoh reached the edge of the map where he stopped and started viewing the realm. I wonder what would have happened if he had gone? I don't think anyone fleeing actually leaves the map. I expect Pharoah would have changed direction and the raide...

First, make sure you're patched. If you are, then, yes, this still happens sometimes. The most common places that citizens still get stuck are at the water's edge and at the screen's edge. These two places usually can't be "bushed" (drop a bush or tree on them to unstick them), so you have to just d...

In Pi-Ramesses, where raiders attack every %$&#! year ( :D  ), and sometimes twice per year, I had three guard tents with my army (unfortunately placed on the opposite side of the city from where the majority of the raiders entered), one guard commander, and bunches of military. With two g...

And my 2-loaves worth... Copper seems to be mined more slowly than tin. In my Pi-Ramesses, I had nearly twice the tin production as copper production, with roughly the same number of laborers, 1 overseer, and apx the same amt of time on the job... Periodically I would switch the Tin Overseer over to...

Also, I've noticed that I get malnutrition messages even if only a few farmers don't have the right mix of food. A few isn't enough to worry about. As you say, I just ignore the messages, except to sometimes make sure my hospital and apothecary are staffed.

I have found that in my cities, one priest just isn't enough to keep my one hospital and apothecary (right next to his house, and near all his other services) permanently open. I always ramp up to 2 priests for healthcare.

I'm wondering if the patch changed this behavior. I've had basalt statues in the lux statue maker post patch. However, in Pi-Ramesses, h...
