Why not have a large map of Europe where anyone who has the game can make their own city and trade with other cities people built? You can even fight on battlefields and win some loot. But this would have to cost the game makers some money so there would be a monthly fee. I hope Caesar IV has a mult...

I noticed a lot of you built many farms. I only built 2 cattle farms, 2 vegetable farms, and 2 wheat farms to feed my entire city of 2600. It's too bad you can't save any games.

I like trees. I hope we can plant as many as we want like in Emperor. Trees should also be flamable too, just to make things more realistic. I wonder if they will allow trees to grow back in Northern Provences when you are managing your city for almost 50 years? Surely they have to grow back?

I remember learning about the Soviets ordering their soldiers to do farmwork during harvesting season. It could work. I've heard of Roman soldiers re-building cities after an earthquake or a riot druing the Imperial era. Anyone have info on this?

I love Igguldens books. He is the one who actually got me reading any kind of book. I suggest you all read just the first chapter of book 1. I read all of them, including book 4 imported from England.

I like the idea of commanding a legion and destroying a tribe before building your city. Also, it would be nice to build a fort that generates no money or takes away money but provides a safe defence location and garrison for Roman troops. You can command them when constant invasions happen and poss...

Include Caesar I, II, or III

I know this is too much to ask but maybe it would be nice to add all or even one of these Caesar games onto the CD of Caesar IV. I would like Caesar I to be on there the most though because I do not have it and have trouble downloading it, and maybe even Caesar II. Or you could add a short remake of...

It can be toggled on and off but it needs to be changed! The day and night routine should be less constant than it was before. Instead of it changing every 5 minutes, make it so that it is less constant.

Well, I don't think anyone is going to be happy about sitting there for the suggested 1 hour of darkness mentioned above with very little or nothing going on in their cities. What's the point of sitting there for the suggested hour looking at a semi-dark screen with virtually no activity happening?...

LOL! I knew this would happen. Do you realize they made COTN so that they can correct the mistakes they made there so that Caesar IV would be perfect? COTN is the first to undergo the new change in the city building series which is good so Caesar IV would be even greater because of its popularity.

Even today, sea water is very limited and expensive to clean. Plus, if the people of the city relied too much on river water, the reservoir would have to be massive and expenesive. Rome got their water from the distant mountains rather than the Tiber, I dont see why your city shouldn't either.

I don't mind the night and day idea, but it just went too fast in COTN and I really didin't like it. Couldn't you set it up so that the night and day periods are longer?

Reservoir water

I think the reservoir water should be limited especially in costal cities since the water there is salty. River water would probably become limited once the city becomes too large. Instead, there should be an aqueducts carrying water from a foreign mountain outside the city to supply it with unlimit...

I suggest you go to your local computer shop and have them make you a custumized computer. I only spent $700 on mine and it is equivilent to a $2000 dell computer but much cheaper! This was 3 years ago though. The only difference was it had an AMD Athlon instead of a Pentium which was popular for mo...

Night and day

In COTN, the shift from night and day was too constant, every few minutes the day would change and I truly didn’t like that at all. The night and day shift should be every 30 minutes in Caesar IV, to an hour and the night periods should be no more than 10 minutes so it would feel more realistic and ...

The Romans weren't Italian, at least not as we think of Italians nowadays. So Italian accents are just as "wrong" as any other. They considered themselves Latin. "Latin" back then is not the same as the term "Latin" today, where it has come to represent Hispanic peoples. I'd personally rather have ...

Do you think Caesar III could be capable of being available for your PDA or Palm handheld? Age of Empires has been converted to be played on the PDA, is Caesar III next? I would love to have Caesar III on my handheld, especially all the hours it could kill with such a small device.
