Just a typo: sank vs. sunk

Ok, so yes, I'm ticked at Hapi, but really, my motivation is proper use of the word "sink", not revenge on the mean, mean river god who needs a better hobby. Honest. "Your crew felt the wrath of Hapi, who sunk 10 of your ships!" Either Hapi sank ten of my ships, or ten of my ships were sunk by Hapi....

I dunno why, but the "1for1" makes me feel like my eyes aren't working right. Heehee, and I see it on the trade wall all the time! 1:1 maybe? :)

I've been able to make mine (a Steam version) window by changing the CoTN.ini file (in Documents/Tilted Mill/Children of the Nile ) where there is a full screen setting I changed it from 1 to 0. That said, it isn't "maximized". Though the game is set for the native resolut...

Reading through, I have to wonder -- do these towns have cedar and a shipwright? Local barges are made of cedar and require a shipwright to construct them. I've really never had the problems described here except in cases where I was missing one of the two.

I think a build queue would be nice, but then you're not logging in to see the ads when you need to upgrade something. :)

Howdy, cruinne! This is not a bug. It has to do with how the game calculates tiny fractions. The result is just like cedar for our first boat in a city. Requires 26 not 25 cedar. ... Don't sweat the small stuff. You have lost nothing. ;) I've tried re-starting production, but I always end up with <...

having <1 Items

It's possible to get stuck with less than one item from production if you stop production and ship all your materials to another site. For example, if you are producing Jewelry in CityA, and decide you would rather produce it CityB, and so ship all your Gold and Emeralds to CityB: CityA will retain ...

For a rough estimate, too, you can look at their location and compare it to your own. For example, if you're in 99s, and the person on the tradewall has a "142N" after their name, that's going to be several hours, vs someone closer, in someplace like "110S".

It looks like a little grave on the overhead map, by the way, in case you want to ever scan for it in regions you've gotten near to.

I would love to see a Middle Kingdom game like Nile Online, and a Rome one too, but beyond that, I think it would be great to do an Aztec or Inca game which, afaik, no one's yet done. :D

Yep, I've tried that. They seem to still take an initial payment on the next ship though, which I'd rather stop them doing. Still, it's a decent work around. This is not just for cedar/ships though -- any resource it would be nice to be able to keep specific reserves of it about for trade and the li...

Sug: Ability to set resource reserves.

One idea I had would be the ability to set resource reserves that your workers would not dip into. For example, I have some folks making ships, but I'd like them to stop after this next one and not use any more cedar. If I could reserve all the cedar but what it takes them to build the ship, that'd ...
