I keep imaging there will be pleny of potential for "beauty" maps with MM. Maps where players can develop a beautiful town and have it functioning while looking good. I like the idea of a long and winding town where all the houses are only on both sides of the main road and industries are at both en...

Honestly very few players ever use the same layout over and over. I've seen many contest entries in games like c3 and there are as many different blocks as there are players and lots of us just build. We don't use the same layout over and over again. Its only the real number crunchers players that t...

Sorry I missed this thread earlier. Anyway, we are planning on having fortifications, but what we're avoiding is any kind of tactile combat that forces the player to kind of switch to "rts" mode, so to speak. We're not sure if we're even going to have fighting played out on the screen at all, but i...

They didn't drink water back in those days becasuse of the pollution - it was all small beer. So a brewery would be first building needed in any town.

There has always been trade for several thousand years. The Romans were great traders as were the peoples who came after them. I think you could probably trade for anything if you have enough money or goods to trade. You could have a scenario where someone has to get enough money in order to import ...

Yes I don't mind trade routes opening and closing because thats realistic as long as its not to many in a game [ but would love if you could put that option into the editor as it would make contests much more interesting ]. And as long as its not something that can stop you from completing the CC or...

Trade, trade and more trade. I love trading in CB games - I hope there is lots and lots of trading in MM. People in those days did way more trading than many people realise. I hope there are many different trade routes and trade goods avaliable. In fact trading is probably my favourite part of CB ga...

Really up to 1300 or so cats were regarded as being very bad. They were thought to be familiars for witches and as such usually killed when seen - any woman living alone with a cat was usually burnt as a witch too. Then in early 1300's [ after this game finishes ] the black plauge arrived and spread...

Prodostints [ sp ?] only turned up in England in early 1500's when Herny 8th wanted to marry one.

But we still don't know which country the game will be based in or if it will be general Europe.
