Yes, that point had many worried, me included and rightly so. There is currently a debate about those packages being a type of "pay to win" thing. But after careful reading and discussing, I'm now convinced that it is not, at least not in the common sense: those pledge packages are only part of a cr...

I must have missed that 80$ price tag, the game is not for sale yet that I'm aware of. At the moment only pledge packages that include a digital download (and some other goodies depending on the package) seem to be avalaible, starting from 30 to 140$. The credentials of the man behind the project is...

If you, like me, have been waiting for a Wing Commander and Freelancer successor, here it is:
Star Citizen, hopefully out by 2015.

Illyriad, browser-based game

http://illyriad.com/?24438

I was actually reffered to it from the Nile on Line game page.
Nile is my first love, but also Illyriad is very, very nice imo.

Cheers!

Yes, I like the idea, but then we would need grapes.
I'd rather go for barley --> beer production.

I'd like to know that too.
After a quick search I believe that a sort of FB "version" has been made afterwards.

I couldn't find the name of any company, however, it strongly resembles Patrician III by Ascaron;
the likeness is striking.

I didn't say the name because it's not a city builder and I felt a little ashamed to "advertise" it here;

it's Freelancer , a space RPG/FPS and I'm particularly looking forward to the fwlcommand mod as I am a big fan of Battletech.

I yet have to come back to C4;
some weeks ago I found a 3 years old game in the bargain bin that got me completly hooked...
set aside anything else and I suspect I'll stick with it with for some time, especially if multiplayer and mods are as good as they look.

hehehe
I was thinking exactly the same about another game franchise; ;)
I kinda doubt it tough that even a big win would be enough.

I don't really use that option on forums, wouldn't hurt to have it for those who do tough...
