I'm stunned by that pretty park Kiya! I guess pretty contests for C4 could be an idea for later, would need several neutral judges though , since pretty is subjective. :) And on the prefect/fire discussion. Maybe what you need is a prefect behaiviour (sp?) lab? and add in engineers while you'r...

Paper is goooood! (just like water) So yes to a manual! But I still agree with dorn, not too heavy and large. And tech trees are nice too. But I don't think one should read oneself to good strategy, try and fail, and eventually succeed is more fun. With any game, what I remember best is being a noob...

Dedicated fields/pastures

Default being the way it is now, maybe give players a choice to dedicate a field/pasture to a single farm. Micromanagement of this could stop farmers from crossing the whole map to tend a field/pasture and waste a lot of time on walking. (and since time=money, thus waste money.) It's not so importan...

Someone try a central plaza with a forum, shrines and markets. Surrounded by patrician housing, and a pretty road out to the rest of the city. Or is it too small of a map? (haven't tried demo)

I think crime goes into sundries?
Corruption is a crime, no?
Ergo, corrupt patricians might be an answer.

In my (not so humble) opinion no food should make people die like flies (or emigrate) and the city's reputation should be ruined if it continues. Those that don't disappear should torch down everything within reach. Only 1 food type should severly increase the risk of disease. But ofcourse, the citi...

Finally!

Finally I got to registering on these forums, been reading a little for about a month, and decided I could join sooner rather than later. Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to C4, and even still playing C3 (as late as today). And I'm one of those lamers that don't want to try demo's, and rather w...
