Re: Pharaoh Sandbox

As a follow up.. Lethis, this game is as simple as it gets. The only real hard part is some of the maps make so you really need to think about pathing because everything is so far apart. It's fun to play and looks pretty good. I've never liked the Anno series but have been playing Anno Online, I am ...

Re: Pharaoh Sandbox

Actually I have not, last time I looked it have been last spring and I was not impressed by the media at that time.

Pharaoh Sandbox

Hi All, I've been playing Pharaoh lately, Some of you may recall I really like to push the populations limits of a map. Using the default sandbox maps I was finally able to push the population over 63k and keep it stable. I seem to get the occasional elite houses de-evolving only to re-evolve. I cal...

If you have not seen Cities: Skylines

Hi All, City Skylines came out last month to zero fanfare. I don't understand how these companies expect to sell millions of copies without the fanfare. On the other hand I am pretty sure this game will be a huge success. Cities: Skylines from Paradox interactive http://www.citiesskylines.com/ This ...

Hey, even though I was not active there I am saddened by it's passing.

Hopefully someone will make another good CB someday. I'm really tired of playing Diablo3.

Good Luck !

Only TM knows that for sure. They are still paying for the web hosting of the company website and this forum. It's been a long time since I played Nile Online but perhaps that is still bringing in a few $'s to keep things going. I'm pretty sure we are all hoping that they are working on "Something W...

If you have not played Banished I suggest you give it a try. The walker system is much like COTN and just as casual to play. Easy going gameplay, no war at all, even the disasters are not that bad. ps, isn't it funny how so many people think ROTMK is TM property, I used to believe this also thinking...

Yeah, GOG rocks. I just picked up RCT 3 platinum for $20 rather than go through the hour+ to install and update and install the expansions. I already have all the TM items from there, I love how I can simply install, play to my hearts content and uninstall without ever grabbing a disc. ROTMK would b...

I can go either way here. Historical Accuracy or Mythical Fantasy. I believe TM can do either pretty well.
I'm just happy it's something new and I am sure it will be unique.

Why dump goods then leave? :( In the early days people used to think that the goods once sent would be delivered. Some even thought there were doing favors by sending out all their ships right before they go immortal. Their score will remain till the next score calculation so as long as they go imm...

As for the drm problem, it get worse if someone wants to buy an ebook on amazon to read it not on a kindle (so no account) but on another reader. It's simply impossible... not 100% true... There are Kindle reader apps for Android, IOS, Windows and MAC and you can read any Kindle e-Book using their ...

I got a beta invite

My Beta invite just got here and I just finished the tutorial. It looks like some kids game and the graphics seem a bit fuzzy. The options do not let me change resolutions although it you will be able to in the final version (presumably) I played with the graphic settings a bit but could not make th...

I have to get a new machine a bit like you just did, but one major supplier can offer a choice of Win8 versions, or Win 7 versions. A good general rule of thumb regarding new machines. If {your getting something with a touchscreen} then {get Windows 8} else {get Windows 7} MS will be supporting Win...
