It seems we'll have to change the year in the title of this topic in a little over two weeks time. Still wishing TM the best and hoping for better times for their games.

StijnDP's post phrases exactly my feelings on the best TM game now and what could be the best TM ever, although I'm not necessarily hooked on ancient egypt for a theme. Also slightly worried about the long silence at TM. Tomorrow it's been exactly a year ago they announced their latest fully new gam...

Yes, those who don't spend real money are at a disadvantage and may not even be able to "complete" the game (as it stands now). "may not even be" is actually "are not". With 10 scarabs, you can develop one city to the max and a second city halfway through. That's the limit of things (now). Mind you...

Thank you for another real innovation Tilted Mill. Chris, Jeff, I think you're dead right with your view of the strong points of PC gaming as detailed in various interviews. That's why it will always be my favorite platform for games. That said, I've been thinking about two things, not sure whether ...

Gah, I'm starting to feel old :D . I used to have the entire series I-IX. I don't know if I still do, but the...

However, it is now almost August & it is far past time to hear from your true fans. We want GOALS, WIN SCREENS & CAMPAIGNS. I couldn't agree more, MarkDuffy! Also, I'd like to know more about the role people play in the game. Societies are not just atmosphere or energies, they're people. The city's...

Why should the mayor care about that? It's up to the store owners to order goods from other cities what they can't get here The mayor shouldn't be involved in the day-to-day business of shop owners, but it is his task to facilitate their work by maintaining good relations with the mayors of key sup...

Coming from the Impressions Games/Tilted Mill fan base, I'd like to see some things from their CB series that I haven't heard anything about yet. The detailed and diverse economy with world level interaction to get goods your city can't produce itself is one. I wonder if there are resources involved...

That first look is very promising. The sheer variety of buildings and themes makes it very attractive and unique to any CB game whatever its history. I hope there will be much focus on the societal aspect, next to the city building aspect that no doubt will get additional attention due to the SC fan...

Honestly, probably less hopeful, but that has more to do with the source than TM's abilities. I have more of a past with C4 than I do SC. I played all the way through C2 and C3 (not to mention all the other CityBuilding Series games) and the last SC I played/bought was SimCity 2000. I never got exc...

I agree that invasions usually aren't a problem, but currently I am trying to see what I can do with merely a skeleton town. I could switch to city guards instead of soldiers if they behave differently with health care visits and not care about missions abroad. Obviously they lack the simultaneous t...

Unhealthy soldiers

I noticed that quite frequently soldiers will visit the medical building together in quite large groups. When it's a strain muscle from training, I can understand that, but the same goes for getting cures for the common cold! I guess that's what you get from putting lots of people and a transm...

No problems in those areas. At the end of the scenario I was running with 42 farms, all fields counted, 13 graduates, and 2 full sets of luxury shops. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy lately, if you care :D . I don't have the save from when the problem first occurred, so that's hard to check, but ...

I dubbed this scenario Widow City. The one I mentioned eventually passed away and a new family entered the townhouse very quickly. Subsequently, the same happened twice more in other townhouses (and that with a total of only four nobles in the city). Perhaps I should have added another temple to Hor...
