That actually gives me a thought. If they were to use a procedural generation system like Spore in the next simcity we could create some VERY interesting cities. Imagine being able to theme your hundreds of buildings however you wanted. That would be FANTASTIC!

I love this fence! It was exactly what I needed to make a border fence for my African City. You almost have to have border crossing fences and such to be authentic.

Very nicely done. :D Actually I have a favour to ask you Calypso. Could you make a lawn texture for the desert map? I realized there is no grass tile when you play the desert and im trying to recreate a suburban las vegas city with lots of contrasting grass yards.

Well it seems when I switched maps and stopped using the cyber housing the city was able to pass 10k. Im up to 60k, minor lag. I wish it was a graphical limit. It seems more statistical. Because if I make one house with 10k moded population it crashes just as easily as 100 hours with 6 per. Has to be something on the back end of the game that makes it to hard for my system to handle. What weird is its exactly 10k, anything ...

Try running a Socialist state which is primarily agrarian. ITS HARD! Theres nearly no income and the few houses I do build which arent for the farmer caste have to be solar powered just to be a viable society. Very fun though! :D

For some reason the second I hit 10,000 population I crash. Up to that point the game runs totally lagless and crashless. After I hit exactly 10k the game simply stops after 10 seconds. Its hard to stop designing cites when there is so many options! After I realized we could put down sidewalks my whole game outlook changed! I think I need grass though! Paintable grass with maybe some daisies! Frankly my desert cities just look off without grass medians. :D

Definitely a interesting equation. Ill have to figure it out because I want to build a city with almost purely high tech housing but have it also be spirtually inclined. Curious to see how it works out :D So far so good though. I have a odd mix of adobe houses and solar apartments.
