Hi

Did all the tests, works out fine, its just, i started off, but realised quickly that a 400 x 400 map really is a lot of work.
I dont have time to do it now.
You will have to forgive me.
I'll have more time next month.
Unless someone else does it for you...

Regards

Hehe, ik vind afrikaans een grappige taal ;) Been doing some tests for the exact numbers on the elevation of the water. Just thought i'd spam some screenies so you keep up. Never mind the unfinished state, dark images and hickups. Main goal was to see if the river model would be ok. Passed Next was ...

On a side note, i just noticed your location, South Africa? Spreek je Nederlands (Zuid-Afrikaans) dan? Ik woon in Belgie. I think i should make a last detailed sketch of the exact setup and one with the exact levels with numbers attached, cause on such a big map ,it will be easy to loose track of wh...

I think ill best go bottom up and see where i get with that

If someone else has more ideas....

Look at sketch AB4 again. How about adding cliffs between the quarries triangles to build some pyramids on, like tobing suggested. Would also break the monotomy a bit and it would look great. The player still can decide not to build them there. Ill sketch again, cause describing sketches takes longe...

Hello again, I just love these long lazy weekends... @ tobing: I know exactly what you mean with great panorama stuff when you make elevations and 'terraces' close to the river. My first scenario i just uploaded ( The Breast of Isis) has this concept used, though im not entirely satisfied with it an...

Hehe, son of Moose, that wasn't really detailed and well thought about actually. Here's one I spent some tought about: Right, well, where to start. First of all, I believe the intention is to maximize building space, right? In addition you want a river on one side, and cliffs/quarries on the other si...

Thanks for the nice comment. The quarries weren't actually finished, i was gonna place them deeper or surround them with hill's to make it look more natural rather then a flat quarry just on the map, but i havent done it, cause im not sure if it will have enough space in front of them to stack up th...

I just made my first map and its a sandbox somewhat like the one you described above. River on the right, quarries on the left, plenty of space inbetween to build. Nothing too complicated and still some worldsite's to get prestige. Haven't spent too much time on world level and triggers, cause i wan...

Aha,...an update on editor pages on heaven games; thanks a lot Pecunia, i got my answer on something that intrigued me :the Walkers: This option was only used by Tilted Mill to get people into their early screenshots from the game. Best not to use them in your scenario. Tell me about it, it either c...

Nor, I'm sorry to say, did I ever see a cartpusher being sent out from the depot to the nearest fountain to collect water for export.

Thats ok,... at least we are able to change the price of fountain water in the editor :D
