Holy megahertz! Just realized my computer is seven years old.

I doubt SCS will play on it.

When I get a new machine, not anytime soon, I'll get SCS.

However, if we had a new version of COTN, I'd probably get that new machine.

I find I play COTN more in the winter when the nights are longer.

Though, I've been dabbling with Tropico 2, also feeling a bit piratical. ARrrrrrrRRRRrrrrrrRRRRrrrrrrrr!

I've had something similar happen with overseers and a scribes. (Yes, the game is patched.) The first time I waited until she died before someone new moved in to do the job. Now I just delete and rebuild if I see it happening.

There is some of that in Tropico 2. There are two different types of captives that have different needs that you need to balance against the needs of your pirates while pursuing your own quest for treasure.

I haven't had much time to play through Tropico 2 yet, but what I've seen I've enjoyed, though I keep thinking how much better it would be with some COTN features.

There is a wee bit of politics in it. You can ally yourself with some of the European powers.

I got Tropico 2 and was seriously disappointed.

The parrots in the game are some kind of mutants. They have three toes pointing forward and one back on each foot instead of the two toes pointing forward and two pointing back. Tilted Mill would not make such an obvious mistake.

I like to make the necropolis as ornate as possible.

My most adventurous was an attempt to make a large maze, but the scenario finished before the walls were complete

Thanks for the recommendation.

When I found it lets you build parrot aviaries I had to order a copy.

It looks like fun.

I'll be happy with just about any civilization they choose as long as it includes parrots.

I found myself playing this one over and over. It was so much fun. And had so many different ways to approach it.

A very well thought out scenario.

I'd definitely be a sculptor. And since Egypt is too warm for butter sculptures, my medium would be chocolate!

My vote would have to be for the internet as one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.

Or maybe the international space station.

I agree.

I'd love to see a game that combined the best of CotN and Alpha Centauri, my two favourite games.
