Have to say that's one of the best cities I've ever seen & having just installed update #5, has reinvigorated my interest in this game :) Gave up a while back & lost interest due to repeated freezes

My tale of SCS woe. Works perfectly in windowed mode with all settings maximum. Hangs (& I mean the mother of all hangs) after around one hour of game play in full screen mode. No errors reported in Vistas error logs, No combination of keypresses respond, Monitor reports "No Signal" after a minute o...

Trash damn trash

I'm sick of the trash on my streets.

Is there a mod I can use to remove it?

Also, while I have your attention.... does your game slow to a crawl once you reach a population of 40k? Kinda blows as I've only used 2/3rds of the map

Okay, managed to get to Fry's today, got me a fan... had to thermal adhesive the thing to the old heatsink. (Fry's didn't have the right fan in stock, and I'm not going to make trips back and forth all the way to Fry's to check every day.) Initial hour-long operation shows me Problem Solved. No unu...

Crashes more often now than it did before. I guess I'll go back to windowed mode.

At least Vista catches it before it locks up my PC forcing me to "button" it. Not good for RAID setups.

I'm not giving up on this game yet. I like playing it too much.

As the title says I dont know why everyone is complaining about this game and the errors and crashes because and I DONT KNOW WHY but my game never crashes or give errors, it just plays good and no slowdowns and stuff. But the only thing I don't get is I cant see trees and traffic lights among the r...

Submitting bug-forms will not work, BTW. Some people aren’t as computer literate as you and I, therefore, cannot describe what they’re experiencing (like trying to explaining your car symptoms to a mechanic). Beside, no one knew; they would be testing demo ahead of time. Before releasing a game, on...

I'd rather the tm staff were busy working on solutions rather than getting bogged down on here responding to angry posts.

Besides, EA went ahead & made a nice "Bug submission form" heee!

Don't bank on an ATI based system being immune to the problems most users of these boards are having with the game, they're not :(

How long after building those roads did you take the screenie?

I've seen my busses & other public vehicles do similar shortly after adding new roads. The route corrected itself in seconds, but it was long enough to see it happen.

I can't make the connection.

I'm not disputing it's working for the OP, but I've had several cities with no farms & it still crashes.

I admit after three weeks of silence I was a bit grumpy. Some of my posting was a bit...trollish. Since then it seems the problems are being looked into and the silence was more EA's typical denial of any culpability on thier end. Upgrade. I never really liked Nvidia, so went out today and bought m...

Was EA aware the product wasnt finished ? But they still made you box it up ,right ? Maybe all the casual gamers hav...

heh heh yeah you wouldn/t figure quads would get bogged but this game does not even use them. windows has taken care of dispursing the data across the cores. It does run faster i must say but thats only by design of windows. i can only imagine what it would be like if this game was actually designe...

You know, I think this game appeals to two types of gamers. 1) The ones who've played all the Sim City games but weren't very good at them (me :o ) & 2) Those that haven't played SC3/4 & wanted to know what it was all about. I'm pretty content with the game. Got a city upto 20k people & everyone is ...

Very brave of you David

Not often you see actual developers getting involved in those types of threads.
