I think it also depends on how "accurate historically" a game has to be made. It is a game. Maybe a little historical inaccuracy like a fast building cathedral wouldn't be all that bad if it added to the enjoyment of the player.

I am thinking about the Crusades, Lords, the King and how that will all interact together. I think Townships paid military duty or taxes or something to their local Lord or King. I am not sure of that; It is just me thinking. Would the walls be decorative or martial? I like the idea of a trade cente...

And very off-topic for city builders, but I loved watching this, and hope you all enjoy too.

I'd look at this as a chance to make something better, prettier, more fun than before. I mean, if you can't get the old back then improve on your memory and make something more suited to an updated you. Something that will reflect who you are now instead of what you were two years ago, :) Hopefully ...

Prime is pretty pricey, imo. You have to buy alot to cover the fee :)

I bought my Kindle two years ago, and I have never regretted it. I cleaned out TONS of books and they are replaced by one slim Kindle reader. I bet I had over 5000 books......

I have had similar situations that went on for months. As an avid gamer, a steady connection is vital to me. I got intermittent interrupts for months before they finally fixed the problem. I'd have gone through the roof before Fri. Good for you to be so patient! :)

Have you tried Torchlight? It's developed by the guys that made the original Diablo and is really what Diablo II should have been. My quick look at the games I have installed... Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Avatar, COtN, SCS, Caesar IV, Torchlight, Duke Nukem Forever, Starcraft 2, Diablo 2, Driver, Str...

yep, 1.0.0.0 I'll run by and patch it up. I seriously don't mind hardcore though. It's nuts the way games are dumbed down so much now. Still, I was struggling pretty hard with armies coming in and me with no palace. :)

Checked to see if this was addressed, and I don't believe it is. It's bugging the heck out of me. My perfumer has 12 henna and 12 flowers for oil to make perfume, but he isn't making any. He's just drinking beer all day and night! I deleted two and the third one is now sitting drinking beer. Here's ...
