I do have a "farmville.scn" here, it's pretty small, so I don't know if it's okay, though.
Any idea where I can upload it?

Why is it important to have housing only houses anyway? If every family has a trade, they could live in their respective workshops, since in medival times most things were a family business, anyway. It worked like this in CotN. Farmers lived in farmhouses near the plantations, shopkeepers lived in t...

Blame me, I've been playing the Sims3 for most of the time lately. Or rather, I couldn't help but to dive into the editor and build on my own neighbourhood for the last years now. You can find my thread in the German Sims forums ;) Other than that, I played some rpgs like Risen2 and Two Worlds 2, an...

Okay, my two cents to this: walkers: I never liked the idea of market ladies. People care for their own needs, and I like how this was solved in CotN. If the facilities they needed were too far away or not there at all, they just didn't have time to do much else, and so your city was unproductive. O...

I don't know whether it will work but I can try to upload my scenarios again. I know that Tinkerbell has a lot of the scenarios posted here (if not all), so maybe he can upload them too to restore the collection. It would be a shame if those scenarios are gone forever. Edit: Okay, re-upload is not p...

Still here, too! :) Well checking now and then for news, since there's not much going on here. :( I'm currently busy designing a world for Sims3, so no scenario in the works either. I hope and pray that TM isn't as dead as it looks. I'd buy any sequel of CotN or other city builders from them immedia...

Yes, you can enable them in every scenario. But you have to make sure that the ressources to build them are available, too, else you can only place the construction site but it will never be finished. You can, however, take care of that too with the editor ;) Just report back if you have problems an...

Sorry I didn't see your post until now. :o Glad you managed to win the scenario anyway! I only tested it once with the statues on the other side and it worked; I built the barge landings near the mines and near the floodplain at the other end of the river (far from the start pyramid). When I made th...

Well, if somewhere educates were needed, they probably graduated and took a job. ;) Or do you mean what they do after school? Go home, normally. Why don't you just follow one of them around for a while to find out? You can rename him to recognize him better in case he becomes an adult and moves into...

I don't think nobles are able to afford a pyramid at all. Nobels pay upkeep once a year (shortly after harvest), you can see when their pools turn clear again and the run down walls get white, their amount of bread decreases significantly. If the family owns a tomb, they pay more bread than without ...

I guess this would ruin them, as they cost much more upkeep than a small mastaba :p

Clay sprites are barely visible (in the editor) red bars which are underground most of the time. If you place them on a slope you can see them, and pick them to delete.

Maybe you can try to alter the slope where you placed them to make them appear and easier to delete?

A drop in prestige doesn't mean that you failed the scenario. You can always build up new prestige, f.e. by building statues and sphinxes if you don't have obelisks left to build.

Hi and welcome to the wonderful banks of the Nile! :) I'm not sure if the patch will help you with your problem (although I recommend to install it anyway), because I don't know what is on your 2nd cd. If the install is on your 1st cd and the game on the 2nd, then I'm afraid you will need it always....

That's great! http://www.smiliemania.de/smilie.php?smile_ID=10616 You don't have to build the shops near the ressources. All the children and the father will gather ressources, and many at once, so they rarely run out even if they have to go far to fetch them. Better place the shops spread around in...

It sounds like you don't have enough food in your city. How many farms do you have? How many of those are actually inhabited? Every farm house needs to be patroned by either the palace or a noble. The palace can have 6-10 farms (depending on its size), every noble 4-8 farms. Add farms and nobles unt...

I don't remember the scenario well, but I think this refers to a world map site you have to build (and maybe discover first by opening other sites). Yes, scribes are hard to keep in line. They tend to go shopping in the only season they actually have to work... All you can do is to place ...
