Slider bars not working seems to happen when the server is too heavily loaded. Sometimes none of my active elements respond, and I have to relog to make them usable again. This is a different problem from the one the thread was addressing, however. ;)

I forgot about the sphinx. That would have been a great subscriber perq except that if a non-subscriber attacks you and takes it, they now have a sphinx too. Also, I bet the Greasemonkey script can display one in place of a pyramid if people want it to. I never even considered the 25% off Impulse, s...

There were vicious crocodiles everywhere but the subscriber fishermen caught them all, turned them into a range of designer sandals and launched a new eatery offering fresh just caught crocodile meat. Ah, that explains why the boy who is fishing looks like he is beating something to death with a st...

This only occurs for me when the game is lagging so badly that I am forced to switch to dial-up in order to get responses from clicking on the buttons. My broadband is satellite, and therefore high latency. It doesn't seem to be able to get a response from the server at these times. It occurs when I...

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but the one way that I knew of causing it to happen isn't doing it this morning. I have been able to cause it to happen by going to one ally, opening a trade screen, then closing it. Then I went to another ally, opened a trade screen and quickly entered somethi...

When the workers are allocated a job eg. Pottery they will work there for a set time. Eventually, they end up as vagrants at the monument plot. After about 1 week, they die and the lost bonus points are restored. The lost workers would be made again (like when your palace is upgraded) Note: They wi...

The problem with the event as it stands is that if one feels the duty to drive out the raiders every time they appear, then one does nothing in the game but build soldiers. It's not a matter of materials, it's a matter of time and manpower. Blueyes, you've done your duty, and probably then some. I s...

Yes, but you don't need to make soldiers. You don't like the bandit event, OK. That doesn't mean others don't. If Reed does not want feedback from all the players, he can say so himself. If he has a problem with the tone or the content of my feedback, he can tell me so himself. Until then, I have a...

If one is to participate in the bandit event, one must make soldiers. One cannot buy them at the market.

I don't care how large the return rate becomes, it's no fun for me to spend all my time making soldiers. I could become wealthier by playing the markets, and I don't. I like to make goods, build my cities, and trade with my friends so they can build their cities. I can't do that if all my discretion...

The one time I forgot to send bread to my monument, the game told me that the workers had stopped, and that soldiers were deserting. Soldiers did desert. I did not bother to check to see if the workers had actually stopped.

Just a joke, speysider. Creating lots of polls and asking for somebody to buy limestone at 24 seemed like his style. No offense. Both of them apparently want lots of attention and apparently aren't too fussy about how they get it. markedisonchua tried to get it by spamming shouts on the walls as we...

That happened to me, too. I never captured any of theirs, so it had to be mine that were released. Instead of the 6 spearmen, 1 archer, and 1 chariot that were captured, I got back 1 spearman, 1 archer, and 6 chariots.
